📌 Why this workaround is needed
GoHighLevel (GHL) websites may not support installing the OTTO pixel through the standard site settings. You can work around this by adding the pixel to the website or funnel’s custom tracking code.
🔍 Copy the OTTO pixel
- In Search Atlas, open AI SEO → OTTO SEO.
- Open the relevant project and locate the OTTO pixel or installation instructions.
- Copy the complete pixel code. Do not edit or remove any part of the code.
⚙️ Add the pixel in GHL
- Sign in to GoHighLevel and open the relevant sub-account.
- For a website, go to Sites → Websites and open the website settings. For a funnel, open Sites → Funnels and select the funnel.
- Open the site, funnel, or step settings and find the Head tracking code, Custom code, or similar field.
- Paste the complete OTTO pixel code into the head section.
- Save the settings and publish the website or funnel.
🧪 Verify the installation
- Open the live GHL page in a private browser window.
- Use the OTTO installation check in Search Atlas, if available, and run the check again.
- If the pixel is not detected, confirm that you pasted it into the head section of the published page, not only into the visual page editor.
- Clear your browser cache and any site caching, then republish the page.
✅ Important checks
- Install the pixel on every page or funnel step that should be monitored.
- Make sure the code is added to the live domain, not only a GHL preview URL.
- Do not place the code inside visible page content.
- If the website uses multiple domains, repeat the installation for each domain.
- Allow time for Search Atlas to detect a newly published pixel.
