Promotional discounts at Search Atlas are plan-specific. This means a promotional code or offer is tied to a defined set of plans and cannot be applied universally across all subscriptions. Before assuming a discount applies to your plan, check the terms of the specific promotion.
- New Billing plans and Legacy plans may have different eligibility rules depending on the promotion.
- Some offers are available only to annual subscribers; others may apply to monthly plans.
- Promotional codes cannot be stacked — only one discount can be applied per subscription at a time.
💡 Example: Applying a 25% Annual Discount
If you are on a plan priced at $2,681 per year and a promotion offers 25% off, here is how to calculate your renewal price:
- Take your current annual plan price: $2,681
- Calculate 25% of that amount: $2,681 × 0.25 = $670.25
- Subtract the discount from the original price: $2,681 − $670.25 = $2,010.75 per year
Your renewal price with the 25% discount applied would be $2,010.75 per year. Please note that this is an illustrative example — the actual discounted price shown in your account at checkout is the figure that applies to your subscription.
⚙️ How to Apply a Promotional Discount to Your Plan
- Log in to your Search Atlas account.
- Click your Avatar (top-right) → Billing → Redeem Promo Code (Billing).
- Locate your current plan and select the renewal or upgrade option.
- Enter your promotional code in the designated field at checkout.
- Confirm the discounted price is reflected before completing the transaction.
If you do not see a field to enter a promo code, the discount may be applied automatically, or your plan may not be eligible for that specific promotion.
🚫 Common Reasons a Discount May Not Apply
- The promotional offer has expired.
- Your current plan is not included in the promotion's eligible plan list.
- You are attempting to stack two separate promotional codes, which is not supported.
- The offer is intended for new subscribers only and does not apply to renewals.
- Your account is on a legacy plan that falls outside the promotion's scope.
🔄 Renewal Pricing and Discount Duration
Promotional discounts are typically applied to the first discounted billing cycle unless the promotion explicitly states otherwise. At the end of that cycle, your plan renews at the standard list price unless a new promotion is applied. Always review the promotion's terms to understand whether a discount is one-time or recurring.
