🔄 Fix Hyperdrive Credits Not Matching Your Plan

📋 Recurring vs. One-Time Credits

Your Hyperdrive Credits (HDC) come in two types:

  • Recurring credits reset every month on your billing cycle date. You see them as a usage counter (for example, 0/60 used).
  • One-time top-up credits are purchased or granted separately and do not reset. They remain until you use them.

The Billing dashboard shows the HyperDrive Credits total as one combined number (plan/recurring credits plus purchased credits), even though the system tracks the two buckets separately, so the total can look higher than your plan's monthly recurring amount.

🔍 Verify Your Plan Allowance

  1. Open your account billing or subscription page.
  2. Locate the line that lists your plan's monthly Hyperdrive Credits (for example, PRO = 100 HDC/month).
  3. Compare that number with the recurring credit counter shown in the Hyperdrive section (e.g., 0/60 used).

⚠️ If the Recurring Counter Is Lower Than Expected

When the recurring counter shows fewer credits than your plan promises (e.g., 60 instead of 100), it is usually a display or provisioning issue that the billing team must correct.

  1. Open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.
  2. Tell the agent: "My recurring Hyperdrive Credits show [X] but my [Plan Name] plan should provide [Y] per month."
  3. The agent will verify the discrepancy, escalate to billing if needed, and apply any missing credits as a one-time correction.

🧾 What Happens After You Report It

The billing team investigates the provisioning gap. In a recent case they issued a one-time grant of 50 HDC to cover the shortfall while the root cause was fixed. You will receive a confirmation once the adjustment is applied.

🛠️ Known Display Improvements

The HyperDrive Credits total shown in Billing is one combined number (plan/recurring credits plus purchased credits), even though the system tracks the two buckets separately. Further backend/frontend alignment work is in progress to prevent future mismatches.
