🛠️ OTTO Project Quota Shows 0 on Starter Plan

🔍 Overview

The Starter plan includes one OTTO project slot. In some cases, a known quota sync issue can cause your account to display a limit of 0, preventing you from adding your first site and prompting you to upgrade. This is a backend discrepancy — your plan entitlement is still valid.

⚙️ What Causes This

Quota figures are occasionally out of sync between your plan's entitlements and what the platform displays on your account. This is a known issue that requires a backend correction by the Search Atlas team. There are no settings you can change yourself to fix this directly.

✅ Steps to Resolve

  1. Confirm your plan. Verify that you are subscribed to the Starter plan, which includes one OTTO project. If you are unsure, check your billing details in the platform.
  2. Check the OTTO SEO section. Navigate to OTTO SEO → All Sites (SEO Automation) and review whether your project quota has been updated or whether a site is already visible there. Occasionally, the display corrects itself after a short delay or a page refresh.
  3. Wait briefly and refresh. If you have recently signed up or changed your plan, wait a few minutes and then reload the page. A fresh load can sometimes allow the quota to sync correctly.
  4. Contact support if the issue persists. If your quota still shows 0 after refreshing, this requires a manual correction by our team. See the section below on how to reach us.

📊 After the Fix Is Applied

Once the backend quota is corrected, your one OTTO project slot will be reflected in your account. Your site will then be accessible under OTTO SEO → All Sites (SEO Automation), and you will no longer be prompted to upgrade to add your first site.

💡 Important Notes

  • This issue is not caused by anything you did — it is a platform-side quota sync problem.
  • Do not attempt to upgrade your plan solely because of this message. Upgrading will not resolve the underlying quota discrepancy and is unnecessary if you are entitled to the slot on your current plan.
  • Our engineering team is actively working on an automatic fix that will detect and correct quota drift without requiring manual intervention.
