If you purchased LLM Visibility credits but cannot use them — for example, because your current plan does not support LLM Visibility projects — those credits may be able to be converted into OTTO credits by our team. This article explains the difference between credit types, why this issue occurs, and how to get it resolved.
Understanding LLM Visibility Credits vs. OTTO Credits
Search Atlas uses two distinct credit types that serve different purposes:
- LLM Visibility credits are specifically tied to running LLM Visibility projects. The ability to run LLM Visibility projects depends on your subscription plan. If your plan does not support LLM Visibility projects, any LLM Visibility credits purchased cannot be used for their intended purpose.
- OTTO credits power AI-driven SEO actions and quota generation within the OTTO feature set.
These two credit pools are separate and are not automatically interchangeable. Purchasing LLM Visibility credits does not grant access to LLM Visibility projects if your plan does not include that feature.
Why You May Not Be Able to Use LLM Visibility Credits
Depending on your subscription plan, you may not be eligible to run LLM Visibility projects regardless of how many LLM Visibility credits are in your account. To use LLM Visibility projects natively, you may need to upgrade to a plan that supports that feature. If upgrading is not your preference, the alternative is to have your unused LLM Visibility credits converted to OTTO credits so they provide value on your current plan.
How to Request a Credit Conversion
Credit conversions from LLM Visibility credits to OTTO credits require assistance from our support team. To request a conversion, contact our support team and let them know you have LLM Visibility credits you are unable to use and would like converted to OTTO credits.
