📋 Overview

The Local SEO Heatmaps feature lets you visualise your Google Business Profile ranking across a geographic grid. You can save heatmap snapshots to your dashboard for quick access and track ranking changes over time. The Local SEO Report is a separate, dedicated section found through the Reports area of the platform — not inside the Local product itself. This article explains where each feature lives and how to navigate to it.

🗺️ Understanding Where Each Feature Lives

Before diving into steps, it helps to know the two areas of the platform involved:

  • Local product — Accessed via Left sidebar → Local. This is where you run heatmap scans for your Google Business Profile locations.
  • Reports section — Accessed via Left sidebar → Reports. This is where your Local SEO Reports are built, stored, and accessed. It is a separate area from the Local product.

📊 How to Save a Heatmap to Your Dashboard

Saving a heatmap to your dashboard is a feature within the Local product. Because the exact steps and controls available can differ depending on your account view and subscription tier, the best way to get precise guidance is to reach out to our support team with the following details ready:

  • The name of the GBP project (location) you are working with
  • The keyword and location radius used for the heatmap scan
  • A screenshot of the heatmap result you want to save, if possible

Having this information ready will allow our team to walk you through the exact steps for your specific account setup.

Tip: You can save multiple heatmaps for different keywords or locations so you can monitor ranking changes across different areas from one place.

📁 How to Access the Local SEO Report Section

The Local SEO Report is not located inside the Local product sub-pages. It is built and accessed through the Reports section. Follow these steps:

  1. In the left sidebar, click Reports to open the Report Builder projects list.
  2. On the projects list screen, open an existing report project or create a new one.
  3. Within the report project, look for the Local SEO reporting area to view or build your Local SEO report.
  4. If you do not see a Local SEO reporting option, verify that your subscription tier includes access to Local SEO features, as availability may depend on your plan.

If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.
