🔍 Identify Your Account
If your Google Business Profile is locked due to retained API access from a previous provider, first confirm which email address is associated with your Search Atlas account. This is the email you use to log in to the platform.
🛠️ Reactivate or Access Your Account
If your account is inactive, you may need to reactivate it. In the resolved case, the account info@bigthinkingagent.com was reactivated with a 7-day trial to regain access. Ensure your account is active before proceeding.
🔓 Remove the GBP Data Lock
Once your account is active, the GBP data lock can be removed. A support agent confirmed the lock was present and manually removed it. To request removal, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.
✅ Verify the Lock Is Removed
After the lock is removed, Google will no longer override your business profile changes. You can now manage your Google Business Profile directly through the Local SEO section. Navigate to Left sidebar → Local → Overview to confirm your profile is editable and syncing correctly.
