If you do not have a Google Business Profile or simply do not need Local SEO features right away, you can skip that part of the onboarding process and come back to it later. This article explains how to proceed through onboarding without selecting a business, and how to connect your Google Business Profile when you are ready.
To continue onboarding without selecting a local business, follow these steps:
- When prompted to select a business during onboarding, click I Don't Need Local SEO.
- Continue through the remaining onboarding steps as normal until you have finished the setup process.
- Once onboarding is complete, navigate to Settings > Google Integrations and connect your Google Business Profile from there.
After your Google Business Profile is successfully connected, your business will automatically appear in the Local SEO module, giving you full access to all of its features.
