🔗 Why Connecting Your Meta Account Matters
Connecting a Meta Business ad account is the first and most important step in Meta Ads. Until your account is connected, Launchpad and Analytics remain locked and unavailable. Once connected, Meta Ads can build campaigns, generate creatives, publish ads, and pull in performance data — all in one place.
📍 Where to Find the Connect Control
At the very top of Meta Ads, you'll see a Meta Ad Account control. This is the starting point for linking your account.
- Open Ads → Meta Ads (Which ad platform do you want to see first?) from Search Atlas.
- Locate the Meta Ad Account control at the top of the page.
- Click it and follow the prompts to connect your Meta Business ad account.
Once the connection is complete, Launchpad and Analytics will unlock automatically and your data will begin loading.
✅ What Unlocks After Connecting
- Launchpad — build and publish Meta ad campaigns from brand to live ads.
- Analytics — view campaign performance, insights, and reporting data pulled directly from your Meta ad account.
🔧 Troubleshooting Common Issues
🔒 Launchpad or Analytics Appears Locked or Empty
This almost always means a Meta ad account hasn't been connected yet. Go to the Meta Ad Account control at the top of Meta Ads and complete the connection.
📊 Numbers Don't Match Meta Ads Manager
If you notice a difference between the figures shown in Meta Ads and those in Meta Ads Manager, this is temporary. It typically happens when Meta is rate-limiting data requests. The numbers will reconcile automatically as the sync catches up — no action is needed on your end.
⏳ Insights Are Still Loading After Connecting
Data loads in phases after you connect your account. If insights haven't appeared yet, give it a few minutes and then refresh the page. This is expected behavior and not a sign that something has gone wrong.
