Do You Need a Saved Project to Run a Cloud Stack?
Based on confirmed resolutions from our support team, a saved project is not required to run a Cloud Stack. You can enter a target URL directly without needing to link the Cloud Stack to an existing project in your account.
If you do have a saved project, you may be able to use it during setup to associate your Cloud Stack activity with that project — but this is optional, not mandatory.
What to Do If You Are Unsure About Your Setup
Because Cloud Stack configuration details can vary depending on your account and the current state of the platform, the safest way to get accurate guidance for your specific situation is to contact our support team directly. When you reach out, please have the following ready:
- The target URL you want to use for your Cloud Stack
- Whether you have an existing saved project you want to associate with it
- Your Search Atlas account email or project name
