🔌 WordPress Plugin Setup for Content Sync

🧭 Overview

To publish or sync content from Search Atlas directly to your WordPress site, you need to install the official Search Atlas WordPress plugin. The plugin is not available in the WordPress.org plugin directory — it is installed by uploading the plugin ZIP file provided by Search Atlas.

🔍 Getting the Correct Plugin

The Search Atlas WordPress plugin is not listed in the WordPress.org plugin directory. To install it, you must upload the plugin ZIP file provided by Search Atlas.

Contact the Search Atlas support team to obtain the plugin ZIP file for your account.

📦 Installing via Manual ZIP Upload

Because the plugin is not available in the WordPress plugin directory, it must be installed manually using the ZIP file provided by Search Atlas.

  1. Once you have the plugin ZIP file, log in to your WordPress admin panel.
  2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  3. Click Choose File, select the ZIP file, and click Install Now.
  4. After installation completes, click Activate Plugin.

🔗 Connecting the Plugin to Search Atlas

After activation, you must connect the plugin to your Search Atlas account. The plugin settings page will prompt you for the credentials or key needed to establish the connection. If you are unsure where to find your connection credentials, contact the support team for guidance specific to your account.

  1. In your WordPress admin panel, find Search Atlas in the left sidebar menu.
  2. Open the plugin settings page.
  3. Enter the required connection credentials as prompted and save.
  4. A confirmation message will indicate whether the connection was successful.

🛠️ Troubleshooting Common Sync Errors

If the plugin is installed and connected but content still will not sync, work through the checks below.

  • Plugin not visible after installation: Confirm the plugin was activated, not just installed. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins and verify its status shows as Active.
