OTTO MetaSync gives you control over breadcrumbs and schema markup, both across your entire site and on individual pages. This article explains how to approach disabling each feature. Part 1: Disable Breadcrumbs in the OTTO MetaSync WordPress Plugin

Breadcrumb settings are managed inside your WordPress dashboard through the MetaSync plugin. To turn off breadcrumbs globally, follow these general steps:

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. In the left sidebar, locate and open the MetaSync plugin settings.
  3. Look for a Breadcrumbs section within the plugin settings.
  4. Locate the option to disable or turn off breadcrumbs site-wide and deactivate it.
  5. Save your changes.

Once saved, breadcrumbs should be removed from all pages on your site. If you only want to disable breadcrumbs on a specific page, open that page in the WordPress editor, look for the MetaSync settings panel associated with that page, and disable the breadcrumb option at the individual page level.

Part 2: Disable Schema Markup in OTTO MetaSync

Schema markup can typically be turned off at two levels: globally for your entire site or on a per-page basis. Choose the approach that fits your needs.

Option A — Disable Schema Markup Globally

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard, open the Search Atlas plugin, and navigate to Settings → Schema Markup tab.
  2. Open the configuration or settings area for your site.
  3. Look for a Schema or Structured Data settings section.
  4. Locate the option to disable schema markup site-wide and turn it off.
  5. Save your changes to confirm.

Disabling schema globally will stop OTTO MetaSync from injecting structured data across your entire site. This is useful if you manage schema through a separate tool or prefer to handle it manually.

Option B — Disable Schema Markup on a Specific Page

  1. Open the page or post you want to edit inside your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Locate the MetaSync settings panel associated with that page (typically found below or alongside the editor).
  3. Find the Schema or Structured Data option within that panel.
  4. Disable schema for that specific page using the available toggle or dropdown.
  5. Save or publish the page to apply the change.
