🔍 What Happened
In some cases, the AI agent inside Content Genius can enter a loop where it repeatedly creates and recreates articles without stopping. Each cycle consumes your article quota and premium AI quota, even though no usable content is produced. This is a known platform issue that our engineering team is actively working to resolve.
⚠️ Can You Fix This Yourself
Quota restoration cannot be done from within your account settings — it requires a backend credit applied directly by our support team. However, you can take two immediate steps right now to stop further quota loss and speed up your reset:
- Stop the AI agent immediately. As soon as you notice the loop, stop or close any active AI agent task that is running to prevent additional quota from being consumed while you wait for the reset.
- Document what you see. Take a screenshot of your current article list or quota usage screen and note the approximate time the loop started and the project or site affected. This information will allow our team to process your reset faster.
Once you have stopped the agent and gathered those details, use the chat widget at the bottom of this page to message our support team directly. Paste your screenshot, the date and time the loop started, and the affected project name into your first message. A team member will review your account activity, confirm the quota consumed by the loop, and apply the backend credit — you will be notified as soon as the reset is complete so you can resume working right away. If you do not receive a response within a few minutes during business hours, type human teammate in the chat widget to be connected with a member of our team.
🛠️ What Our Team Will Do
When you contact support, a team member will:
- Review your account activity to confirm the loop occurred and identify how much quota was consumed.
- Perform a backend reset of your affected content and premium AI quotas.
- Confirm once the reset is complete so you can resume working.
This process is straightforward and our team can action it quickly once they have reviewed your account.
📋 Before You Reach Out
To help our team resolve this as fast as possible, have the following ready when you open chat:
- Approximate date and time the loop occurred.
- The project or site the AI agent was running on.
- Any article titles or keywords the agent was working with, if you remember them.
- A brief description of what you observed — for example, articles being created multiple times in a row.
💡 How to Avoid This in the Future
While our engineering team works on a permanent fix, you can reduce the risk of a loop consuming your quota by:
- Monitoring AI agent tasks closely when first starting a large batch of article generation.
- Stopping the agent manually if you notice the same article being created more than once.
- Running smaller batches rather than large site-wide generation runs so that any loop is caught earlier with less quota impact.
