A recent Search Atlas update introduced an expanded view for Atlas Brain, the platform's AI assistant. When this mode is active, Atlas Brain occupies a larger portion of the workspace, which can cause the left sidebar tools and other navigation elements to appear hidden or inaccessible.
If you logged in and were greeted by a large white screen with the Atlas Brain prompt front and center — and your usual navigation was gone — this is related to the Atlas Brain UI expansion update, not a bug or account issue.
⚠️ Symptoms You May Be Experiencing
- A large white screen displaying only the Atlas Brain chat prompt
- The left sidebar (tools navigation) appears hidden or inaccessible
- The interface looks different from what you saw previously
- You cannot navigate to other tools while Atlas Brain is in its expanded state
🛠️ How to Return to the Native Interface
Try the following steps to exit the Atlas Brain expanded view and restore your standard Search Atlas layout:
- Refresh the page (press F5 or Ctrl+R / Cmd+R) — reloading the platform can reset the view to the standard layout.
- Log out and log back in — signing out and back into your Search Atlas account may restore the native interface view.
- Try a different browser or clear your cache — sometimes a cached state can persist the expanded view. Clearing your browser cache or switching browsers can help.
