When creating a press release in Search Atlas, some customers notice that address information does not display as expected on the final published version. The most common symptom is the city name appearing multiple times in the address block. This type of issue may require backend correction by the Search Atlas team.
⚠️ Common Address Display Issues
- City name duplicated: The city appears more than once in the address field (e.g., "Austin, Austin, TX 78701").
- Incorrect field mapping: Address components such as city, state, or ZIP code are placed in the wrong fields.
- Address not displaying correctly on the published version of the press release.
These issues may occur when the press release form auto-fills your business information and one or more fields contain duplicated or misformatted data.
🛠️ What You Can Try
- Open the press release editor and navigate to the press release you want to fix.
- Review each address field individually — street address, city, state, and ZIP code — and check for duplicated or incorrect values.
- Clear any duplicated values. If the city field contains the city name more than once (e.g., "Austin, Austin"), delete the entire contents of that field and retype the correct value.
- Save and republish the press release, then confirm the address appears correctly on the published version.
If the address still does not display correctly after editing, this may require a backend correction by the Search Atlas support team.
