🔍 What Is the Authority Building Feature?

The Authority section in Search Atlas is your hub for building backlinks, improving domain authority, and increasing your visibility across the web and AI-generated results. You can access it by clicking Authority in the left sidebar. It includes the following sub-sections:

  • Cloud Stacks – Build tiered link structures to strengthen your backlink profile.
  • URL Indexer – Submit URLs to get them crawled and indexed faster.
  • QUEST LLM Visibility – Monitor and improve how your content appears in large language model outputs.
  • Campaigns – Manage outreach and authority-building campaigns.
  • Inbox – Review incoming outreach messages and responses.
  • Sent – Track outreach messages you have already sent.

⚙️ Experiencing an Issue with the Authority Section?

The Authority Building feature covers several sub-tools, and issues can vary widely depending on which area you are using. Because the root cause of many Authority-related problems requires account-level investigation by our support team, the steps below will help you prepare the information needed to get your issue resolved as quickly as possible.

📋 What to Have Ready Before Contacting Support

To help our team diagnose and resolve your issue efficiently, please gather the following before reaching out:

  • The specific sub-section where the issue is occurring (e.g., Cloud Stacks, URL Indexer, QUEST LLM Visibility, Campaigns, Inbox, or Sent).
  • Your project name and the domain or URL affected.
  • A description of the exact error message or unexpected behavior you are seeing, copied or screenshotted verbatim.
  • The date and approximate time when the issue first appeared.
  • Any steps you have already tried (e.g., refreshing the page, resubmitting a URL, recreating a campaign).

🔎 Basic Checks to Try First

Before escalating, confirm the following:

  • Make sure you are logged into the correct account and are viewing the intended project or workspace.
  • Try a hard refresh of your browser (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) to rule out a cached page state.
  • Confirm that the URL or domain you are working with is publicly accessible and not returning an error status.
  • Check that all required fields in any form or setup wizard are fully completed before submitting.

If none of the above resolves the issue, our support team will need to investigate further on the backend. Please have the information listed above ready when you reach out.

If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.
