The Keywords table in Site Explorer includes two columns that many users want to export: Position (your ranking position) and SERP Features (which special result types appear for each keyword). This article explains how to export those columns and addresses a known issue some users encounter when filtering by SERP feature.
📤 How to Export Position and SERP Features Columns
To export your Keywords table data — including Position and SERP Features — follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Keywords table within Site Explorer for the site you are analyzing.
- Ensure that both the Position and SERP Features columns are visible in the table. If they are hidden, their data will not appear in the export.
- Use the table's export option to download your data.
- Confirm the export to download your file.
The downloaded file will include every visible column, so double-check your column settings before exporting if something is missing.
⚠️ Known Issue: SERP Feature Filter Returns No Results
Some users report that when they apply the SERP Feature filter in the Keywords table, no matching keywords appear — even when SERP features are clearly visible in the table. Our engineering team is aware of this bug and has a fix in active development.
Until the fix ships, the SERP Features column still displays correctly and can be exported. The issue only affects the filter, not the underlying data.
🛠️ Workaround: Sort Instead of Filter
If you need a quick list of keywords tied to specific SERP features, use this approach while the filter bug is resolved:
- Make sure the SERP Features column is visible in the table.
- Sort the table by the SERP Features column to group similar feature types together.
- Scan or copy the grouped results manually, or export the full table and filter within your spreadsheet application (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
This gives you the same information the filter would provide, just with one extra step in your spreadsheet tool.

The SERP feature filter bug is tracked as an in-development ticket and our team is actively working on the filter logic.
