What Is Happening?
You may see a Quota Exhausted error when attempting to search for keywords, even though your account still shows remaining quota. This is a known issue that can occur when an account has been deactivated — either accidentally or unexpectedly. When the account is in a deactivated state, the platform blocks quota usage entirely, making it appear as though all quota has been consumed when it has not.
How to Check If Your Account Is Deactivated
To confirm whether account deactivation is the cause of your issue, check the status of your account in your account settings. If your account has been deactivated, reactivating it should resolve the error.
How to Reactivate Your Account
If you find that your account is deactivated, locate the account status options within your account settings and reactivate the account from there. Once the account is reactivated, return to your keyword search and try again.
In confirmed cases, reactivating the account immediately resolved the Quota Exhausted error and restored full access to remaining keyword search quota.
Why Does This Happen?
Account deactivation can sometimes occur accidentally — for example, if a team member or admin unintentionally triggers the deactivation setting. When an account enters a deactivated state, the platform treats all quota as unavailable, which produces the misleading Quota Exhausted error even when quota remains. Reactivating the account restores normal quota behaviour.
Still Seeing the Error After Reactivating?
