About Account Deletion
Account deletion in Search Atlas is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, all associated data — including reports, keyword lists, and content — cannot be recovered. Because the exact process for account deletion requires verification and coordination with our team, this cannot be completed through a fully automated self-serve flow at this time.
Before Requesting Account Deletion
Before submitting your deletion request, please take care of the following:
- Cancel your active subscription: Make sure any active subscription is cancelled before your account is removed to avoid further billing charges.
- Export your data: Download any reports, keyword lists, content, or other data you want to keep, as this cannot be retrieved after deletion.
- Disconnect integrations: Remove any connected integrations (e.g., Google Search Console, WordPress Plugin) to avoid disruption to those services.
How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your account and have your data removed, you will need to contact our support team directly. When you reach out, please have the following ready to help us process your request as quickly as possible:
- The email address associated with your Search Atlas account
- Confirmation that your subscription has been cancelled (or a request to cancel it as part of the process)
- Any specific data-removal requirements you have
Our team will verify your identity and confirm the deletion request before taking any action. You will be notified once the process is complete.
Troubleshooting
If you have already submitted a deletion request and have not heard back, or if you are experiencing issues related to billing after requesting deletion, please contact our support team with your account email address and the date you submitted your request so we can investigate promptly.
