This article explains what data Search Atlas Coworker can access, how your credentials are stored, and what controls are available for your team.
What Data Search Atlas Coworker Can See
Search Atlas Coworker only accesses data from services you have explicitly connected:
- Search Atlas — your account's SEO data, projects, keywords, reports, and connected GSC properties
- Connected third-party apps — only the data within the permissions you granted during the OAuth flow
Search Atlas Coworker does not have access to Slack message history, other team members' DMs, or any service you have not authorized.
How Credentials Are Stored
OAuth tokens for connected apps are stored securely and are never visible in Slack conversations. Search Atlas Coworker will never display your credentials, API keys, or tokens in chat. If you need to rotate credentials, disconnect and reconnect the app.
Conversation Data
Messages you send to Search Atlas Coworker are used to fulfill your request and may be retained temporarily to maintain context within an active conversation. Search Atlas Coworker does not use your conversations to train AI models.
User Controls vs. Admin Controls
- Individual users — can connect and disconnect their own accounts and apps, create and manage their own routines, and control which data Search Atlas Coworker accesses on their behalf
- Workspace admins — can configure which channels Search Atlas Coworker can post in, pre-authorize certain connector actions for all users, and revoke access at the workspace level

Revoking Access
To fully disconnect Search Atlas Coworker from your Search Atlas account, ask it: "Disconnect my Search Atlas account" or revoke access in your Search Atlas account menu (avatar) under Settings → Integrations. Revoking access stops all data access immediately, including active routines.
