Why Your Keyword List May Still Be Loading
After uploading a keyword list in Search Atlas, it is normal to see a processing delay before your data appears. This is not an error — the platform is actively working to retrieve and calculate metrics for every keyword you submitted. The larger your list, the more time this takes.
What to Do While You Wait
If your keyword list is still loading after you uploaded it, try the following steps:
- Wait a few minutes, then refresh the page to check whether processing has completed.
- Do not re-upload the same list. Uploading duplicates will not speed up processing and may create duplicate lists in your account.
- If the list still does not appear after an extended wait, check that your file was correctly formatted before uploading. Common issues include unsupported file types, extra columns or headers, and special characters within the keyword list.
- If the formatting looks correct and the list still has not loaded, please reach out to our support team for investigation.
When to Escalate
If your keyword list has not finished processing after a significant wait and your file appears to be correctly formatted, there may be a platform-side issue that requires investigation. When contacting support, please have the following ready:
- The name of the keyword list you uploaded
- The approximate time you uploaded it
- A description of any error message or status you see on screen
- A copy of the file you attempted to upload, if possible
