🎯 Why a Clear Question Gets You Faster Help
When you open the chat widget and send a general greeting like "hello" without describing your issue, the automated assistant may not be able to escalate your conversation to a human teammate. This is because the system needs to understand what your issue is in order to route you correctly. This back-and-forth adds waiting time for you and can result in an escalation failure — meaning you never get connected to a real person.
Taking 30 seconds to describe your issue upfront means the system can route your request correctly and our team can jump straight to solving your problem — no extra rounds of questions needed.
✅ What to Do If Your Chat Is Not Escalating
If you sent a greeting and the chat did not escalate to a human agent, here is what to do:
- Type your issue clearly in the chat — describe what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and any error messages you saw. This gives the system enough information to route your request to the right team.
- Mention the feature or tool involved — for example, describe which part of the platform you were using and what went wrong.
- Add relevant details — include the project name, URL, or a description of the error if it helps explain the problem.
- Request to speak with a team member — if the automated assistant has not connected you with a human agent, explicitly state in the chat that you need to speak with a person.
📋 Example: Weak vs. Strong Chat Openers
Here is the difference a well-formed message makes:
- Weak opener:"hello" — The system cannot determine what feature, what problem, or what account is affected, so escalation may fail.
- Strong opener:"Hi, I cannot export my article. I click Export and nothing happens. My project is called 'Blog Q3 2026'." — The system can route this immediately to the right team.
A strong opener typically includes what you were doing, what went wrong, and where inside the platform it happened.
🛠️ Common Details That Speed Up Resolution
Depending on your issue, try to include one or more of the following:
- The tool or feature name you were using
- The URL or domain you were working on
- The exact error message displayed on screen
- The steps you already tried (e.g., refreshed the page, cleared cache)
- A screenshot of the issue if available
If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.
