The Rank Tracker Watchlist lets you mark high-priority keywords with a star so you can filter and monitor them separately from your full keyword set. This is useful for tracking competitors, seasonal campaigns, or any keywords that need close attention.
⭐ What Is the Watchlist?
The Watchlist is a built-in Rank Tracker feature that lets you flag specific tracked keywords for quick access. Starred keywords display a filled gold star and can be isolated at any time using the Watchlisted filter. The Watchlist is available to all Search Atlas users on all plan types — no special access is required.
The Watchlist does not have a dedicated page of its own — your starred keywords are always accessed by applying the Watchlisted filter within your Rank Tracker project (see How to Filter by Watchlisted Keywords below).
📌 How to Add a Keyword to Your Watchlist
- Open Rank Tracker (Left sidebar → Keywords → Rank Tracker (Keyword Rank Tracker)) and select a project that contains tracked keywords.
- In the keywords table, locate the keyword you want to watch.
- Click the star icon on that keyword's row. The star turns gold to confirm the keyword has been added to your Watchlist.
🔍 How to Filter by Watchlisted Keywords
- Open the filter panel within your Rank Tracker project.
- Select the Watchlisted filter option.
- Choose Yes from the filter values.
- Click Apply Filter. The keywords table will refresh to display only your starred keywords.
To return to your full keyword list, clear the Watchlisted filter or reset all active filters.
🗑️ How to Remove a Keyword from Your Watchlist
There are two ways to remove a keyword from your Watchlist:
- Single keyword: Click the gold star on the keyword's row again. The star returns to its default state, confirming the keyword has been removed.
- Multiple keywords: Select the keywords you want to remove using the row checkboxes, then click the Remove from Watchlist button in the action bar.
