We've shipped a batch of improvements and bug fixes across OTTO and Site Audit to make metrics more accurate, schema handling cleaner, and core features more reliable.

✨ What's New

This release focuses on sharper reporting, clearer brand settings, and a smoother overall experience. The most notable enhancements include:

  • Percentage change calculations have been added to holistic pillar metrics, so you can quickly see how performance is trending.
  • A deprecation banner now appears on the legacy OTTO version to guide you toward the current experience.
  • A tooltip was added to the ISO 6523 code field in brand settings, explaining what the field is for.

🛠️ How to Use It

  1. Open OTTO SEO or Site Audit from the left sidebar (Left sidebar → OTTO SEO → Site Audit).
  2. Review your holistic pillar metrics to see the new percentage change indicators.
  3. Visit brand settings to find the ISO 6523 code tooltip when configuring brand details.
  4. If you're still on the legacy version, follow the prompt in the deprecation banner to move to the current version.

📋 What to Expect

Alongside the improvements above, we resolved several issues affecting accuracy and reliability:

  • Domain-level metrics and authority data now update correctly.
  • Exchange rate functionality works as expected.
  • The schema deployment filter now shows the correct count for not-deployed page-level items.
  • Instant indexing activation errors have been fixed.
  • OTTO-suggested FAQ schema no longer appears as found schema.
  • Internal linking opportunities now appear correctly in the URL filter.
  • Internal schema fields are now stripped from the JSON-LD preview and original schema display.

These changes apply automatically with no action required on your part.
