🔍 Why your analysis may be outdated
A site diagnostics analysis can remain unchanged when a scheduled scan has not started, is still processing, or was unable to complete. The date shown is the latest successfully completed analysis, not necessarily the date of the most recent attempt.
Common causes include a paused project, an inactive schedule, changed project settings, temporary access issues, or a scan that is still in progress.
📅 Check the project and schedule
- Open the affected project in Search Atlas.
- Review the site diagnostics area and confirm the project is active.
- Check that scheduled scans are enabled and that the next run is configured.
- Verify the target domain is correct and accessible.
⚙️ Check for a recent scan
Look for a scan that is processing, queued, failed, or completed. A completed scan should update the last analysis date. If a scan is processing, allow it to finish before starting another scan.
If the schedule is active but no new analysis appears after the expected run time, refresh the page and review the scan status again. Scheduling can also be affected by the selected time zone or a recent project change.
🚀 Run a manual diagnostic
If your project is active and no scan is running, start a manual diagnostic when that option is available. This can confirm whether the site can be scanned successfully while you investigate the scheduled run.
- Use the correct domain and protocol.
- Make sure the site is publicly reachable.
- Check that security tools or access restrictions are not blocking the crawler.
- Wait for the scan to finish before comparing the analysis date.
✅ When to request help
Request assistance if the last successful analysis remains outdated after an enabled schedule should have run, repeated scans fail, or the project shows no scan status. Include the project name, domain, last analysis date, expected schedule, and any visible error message.
