🔗 What It Is
The URL Indexer submits your URLs to Google to encourage faster indexation. Instead of waiting for Google to discover and index new pages, backlinks, or refreshed content on its own, you can submit them directly through the Search Atlas URL Indexer to help them get crawled and indexed sooner.
It's designed for pages that need to appear in search results quickly — newly published articles, backlinks from cloud stacks or press releases, fresh product pages, or other URLs Google hasn't yet picked up.
⚙️ What It Does
- 🚀 Submits batches of URLs to Google to support accelerated indexation
- 📊 Tracks the indexation status of every submitted URL
- 📋 Generates a detailed indexation report (indexed vs. not-indexed)
- 🔗 Works with the URLs you submit, including your own pages and the backlinks pointing to them
🧩 What You Need
- 📝 A list of URLs (manual entry or CSV upload)
- 🌐 Each URL must start with http:// or https://
- 💳 Universal Credits — to cover the submission cost (priced per URL)
🚀 How to Index URLs
1️⃣ Option 1: Manual Submission
- 🔗 Open Authority → Indexer (URL Indexer) in your dashboard
- ➕ Click Index URLs and give it a name (e.g., "October Backlinks" or "New Blog Posts")
- 📝 Paste your URLs into the input field — one per line
- 💳 Confirm the cost and submit
- 📊 The batch enters the Pending → Submitted → Indexing pipeline
✅ Best for: small lists, ad-hoc submissions, single-page indexing.
2️⃣ Option 2: CSV Upload
- 📄 Prepare a CSV file with one URL per row (no headers needed, just the URLs)
- 🔗 Open Authority → Indexer (URL Indexer) and click Index URLs
- 🏷️ Name your batch
- ⬆️ Upload the CSV file
- 🔍 The system parses every URL, validates the format, and shows you the count and cost before submission
- 💳 Confirm and submit
✅ Best for: large lists, bulk backlink indexing, recurring indexing workflows, agency-scale operations.
⚠️ Check your dashboard for any per-batch size limits before submitting large lists.
📊 The Indexing Pipeline
📥 Submission
URLs are validated and queued for processing.
⚙️ Processing
The indexer submits each URL to Google's indexation pipeline.
📊 Status moves through:
Pending → Submitted → Indexing → Indexed / Not Indexed
👀 Tracking
You can check batch progress at any time and see URL-level status — which URLs are indexed, still pending, or failed.
📋 Reporting
A complete CSV report is generated after the indexation cycle, showing the final status of every URL.
📈 What You Get
- 🚀 Faster indexation — pages can be picked up by Google sooner than waiting for organic discovery
- 👀 URL-level visibility — see exactly which URLs got indexed
- 📄 Downloadable reports — full CSV of every batch result
- ⚡ No manual Google Search Console work — bulk submission without inspecting URLs one-by-one
- 🔗 Higher backlink ROI — links can't pass authority until they're indexed
✅ Best Practices
- 🚀 Submit URLs as soon as they go live — don't let new pages sit unindexed
- 🏷️ Group similar URLs into named batches (e.g., by campaign, content type, or month) for easy tracking
- 🔄 Re-index after major content updates
- 🔗 For backlinks, submit both the backlink URL and the linked page for full impact
- 📄 Use CSV upload for large lists — faster, cleaner, and less error-prone than manual paste
- 👀 Check status before submitting again — duplicate submissions waste credits
