🏷️ Plan Customization and White-Label Feature Guide

🗺️ Overview Search Atlas plans are designed to be flexible. You can focus your subscription on the specific tools you need — such as GBP management and heatmaps — and avoid paying for features you don't use. White-label functionality, which lets you brand the platform for your clients, is available on select plans. This article explains how plan customization works and how to activate the white-label platform. 📦 Understanding Plan Tiers and Feature Access Search Atlas offers four main plan tiers: Starter, Growth, Pro, and Agency. The features available to you depend on your current plan: - Starter and Growth: Core SEO tools are included. White-label functionality is not available on these tiers. If you downgrade from a higher tier to Starter or Growth, your white-label configuration will be automatically deactivated. - Pro: Includes access to white-label features along with the full suite of SEO tools. Agency-level features are also enabled on Pro. - Agency: Includes all Pro plan features plus expanded limits and priority support options. 🎛️ Customizing Your Plan Features If you want to focus your plan on specific tools — for example, GBP management and heatmaps only — without paying for SEO add-ons you don't use, follow these steps: 1. Log in to your Search Atlas account. 2. Click your avatar in the top-right, then select Billing (Plans & Top-ups). 3. Review the available add-ons and feature toggles for your current plan tier. 4. Enable or disable specific add-ons based on your needs. Pricing adjusts automatically to reflect only the features you keep active. 5. Save your changes. Your updated plan will take effect immediately. Note: Some features, such as white-label, are only unlockable at the Pro or Agency tier. If a feature appears greyed out, a plan upgrade may be required to access it. 🏳️ What Is the White-Label Platform? The white-label feature allows agencies and resellers to present Search Atlas under their own brand. When white-label is active, your clients log in to a branded version of the platform — displaying your logo, colors, and custom domain instead of Search Atlas branding. White-label is available exclusively on Pro and Agency plans. It is not available on Starter or Growth plans. If your account is downgraded to one of these tiers, any existing white-label configuration will be deactivated automatically. 🚀 How to Activate White-Label Once you are on a Pro or Agency plan, follow these steps to activate and configure your white-label platform: 1. Log in to your Search Atlas account. 2. In the left sidebar, navigate to More Features → Agency Hub (/agency-settings). 3. Enter your custom branding details: upload your logo, set your brand colors, and configure your custom domain. 4. Set up child accounts for your clients under the Customize Customer tab. Assign each client their plan limits and feature access from this tab. 5. Save your configuration. Changes will be reflected on your clients' accounts immediately. Important: If you update a child account's plan from the Customize Customer tab, verify that the changes have saved correctly and are visible on the child account before notifying your client. ⚠️ Common Issues and What to Expect - White-label option not visible: This feature only appears in navigation for Pro and Agency accounts. Upgrading your plan will unlock it. - White-label deactivated after downgrade: If you reduce your plan to Starter or Growth, white-label is automatically turned off. Upgrading again will allow you to reactivate it. - Inconsistent naming in the platform: You may notice the white-label section referred to by slightly different names across menus, tabs, and URLs. This is a known issue being resolved. The feature and its settings are the same regardless of what label appears. - "Atlas Agent" shown under Exclusive Features on non-eligible plans: If you see Atlas Agent listed under white-label child accounts on Starter, Growth, or Pro plans, this is a display issue and does not reflect actual access. This has been corrected in recent updates. 💡 Tips for Getting the Most from Your Plan - Review your active add-ons quarterly to ensure you are only paying for what you actively use. - If you manage multiple clients, consider the Pro or Agency plan to unlock white-label and streamline client delivery. - Use the Customize Customer tab within white-label settings to tailor each client's feature access and usage limits individually. 🙋 Need More Help? 🔗 Fix White-Label Report Sharing URL Generation

🔍 Understanding the Problem If clicking Share & Export on a report produces a dashboard.searchatlas.com link instead of your branded white-label URL, you are generating the share link from the wrong environment. Report sharing must be performed from inside your white-label dashboard, not from your Search Atlas account dashboard. This is the most common cause of this issue and does not indicate a configuration error with your white-label setup. 🌐 Step 1: Access Your White-Label Environment Your white-label environment has its own dedicated URL, separate from dashboard.searchatlas.com. To navigate to it: 1. Open a new browser tab. 2. Go to the custom domain you configured for your white-label dashboard (for example, reports.youragency.com or the subdomain you set during white-label setup). 3. Log in using your agency admin credentials. If you are unsure what your white-label URL is, check the domain you entered during white-label configuration inside Search Atlas. You can find this by going to More Features → Agency Hub (Agency Hub / White Label settings) and reviewing your white-label domain settings. 📊 Step 2: Open the Report Inside the White-Label Dashboard Once you are logged in to your white-label environment, navigate to the report you want to share: 1. In the left sidebar, click Reports → Report Builder. 2. Locate the report project you want to share from the projects list. 3. Click View to open the report (Executive Summary). It is important to complete this step from within the white-label dashboard. If you open the report from dashboard.searchatlas.com, the generated share link will reflect that domain instead of your branded URL. 🔗 Step 3: Generate the White-Label Share URL With the report open inside your white-label environment: 1. Click the Share & Export button within the report. 2. The generated link should now display your white-label domain (for example, reports.youragency.com/...). 3. Copy the link and share it directly with your client. Your client will see the report under your branded domain with no Search Atlas branding visible. ✅ Quick Checklist Before Sharing - The browser address bar shows your white-label domain, not dashboard.searchatlas.com. - You are logged in as the agency admin inside the white-label environment. - The generated Share URL begins with your custom branded domain. - The report content and data are loading correctly before you copy the link. ⚠️ Common Mistakes to Avoid - Do not copy a dashboard.searchatlas.com link and manually replace the domain. This will produce a broken or inaccessible URL for your clients. - Do not attempt to generate the share link from the Search Atlas main dashboard even if the report data looks identical. The environment you are in at the time of generation determines the URL that is produced. - If you have multiple white-label domains configured, make sure you are logged in to the correct one for the client you are sharing with. 🛠️ If Your White-Label URL Is Not Working If you cannot access your white-label environment or the domain is not loading, check the following before re-attempting report sharing: - Confirm your white-label domain is correctly configured and DNS records are fully propagated. - Verify your white-label setup is active and not paused inside your Search Atlas account settings. - Try accessing the white-label URL from a different browser or an incognito window to rule out caching issues. If the white-label domain loads but Share & Export still generates a searchatlas.com link, log out and log back in to the white-label environment, then try again. 💬 Need More Help? 🔒 Fix 'Invitation Required' on White Label Reports

🧭 Overview When you share a white-label report by email and the recipient clicks View Report, they may see an Invitation Required message instead of the report. This is not a broken link or a browser issue — it is an access control feature built into Search Atlas white-label reports. Only specific account types are authorized to open these links. 🔍 Why This Message Appears White-label reports in Search Atlas are protected by account-based access. The Invitation Required message appears when the person opening the link is not logged into an authorized account. The two account types that can open a shared white-label report are: - Admin account — the Search Atlas account that created the report. - Invited customer account — a client account that has been explicitly invited to view the report from within the platform. Anyone else who clicks the link — including people who are not logged in, or users logged into a different Search Atlas account — will see the Invitation Required message. Clearing cookies, using incognito mode, or regenerating the link will not resolve this issue. ✅ How to Fix the Issue Choose the option below that matches your situation. Option 1: The viewer is your client and does not yet have an invited account 1. Log in to Search Atlas with your admin account. 2. In the left sidebar, click Reports (URL: /report-builder/projects-list). 3. Open the report you shared. 4. Locate the sharing or access settings for that report. 5. Enter your client's email address to send them an official invitation. 6. Ask your client to accept the invitation and log in before clicking the report link again. Option 2: You (the admin) want to view the report yourself 1. Make sure you are logged in to the Search Atlas admin account that created the report. 2. Click the View Report link again. 3. The report should now load correctly. Option 3: Your client has already been invited but still sees the error 1. Ask your client to go to app.searchatlas.com and log in to their invited account first. 2. Once logged in, they should click the View Report link from the email. 3. If they have forgotten their password, they can use the Forgot Password option on the login page. ⚠️ Common Mistakes to Avoid - Do not forward the report link to someone who has not been invited — they will always see the Invitation Required message regardless of their browser or device. - Do not assume the link is broken just because it shows this message. The link itself is valid; the issue is account authorization. - Do not ask the recipient to try incognito mode — this logs them out and makes access impossible. 📋 Quick Reference: Who Can Open a White-Label Report? - ✅ Admin account (creator of the report) — logged in - ✅ Invited customer account — logged in and invitation accepted - ❌ Anyone not logged in - ❌ Users logged into a different Search Atlas account - ❌ Anyone who has not received and accepted an invitation 💬 Need More Help? 🏷️ White Label Customization Options Explained

What Is White Label in Search Atlas? The Search Atlas white label feature lets agency and reseller customers present the platform under their own brand. This article explains what white label customization covers, what limitations exist around tool renaming, and how to get clarity on your specific account configuration. What White Label Customization Covers Search Atlas offers white label customization options for agency and reseller accounts. These options allow you to apply your own branding so that clients interact with the platform under your agency's identity rather than Search Atlas's. The exact elements available for customization depend on your plan and account configuration. Because the scope of white label options can vary, we recommend confirming the specific capabilities included in your account directly with our team before setting client expectations. Tool Renaming Limitations A common question from agency customers is whether individual tool names within the platform can be renamed. Based on confirmed reports from our support team, tool renaming options have limitations — not all named features or internal tool labels can be individually renamed or hidden. Some interface labels reflect the default platform naming and are not editable through white label settings. If a client notices a tool name and asks about it, you are not required to disclose Search Atlas as the underlying provider. You may describe any such feature as a proprietary tool built into your platform. How to Get Help With Your White Label Setup Because white label configuration details vary by account and plan, the most reliable way to confirm what is and is not available to you is to speak with our support team. When you reach out, have the following ready to help us assist you efficiently: - Your agency account name or email - The specific customization or tool renaming option you are asking about - Any client-facing scenario or expectation you need to plan around Our team can confirm exactly what your account supports and walk you through any configuration steps that apply to your setup. Fix White-Label Report URLs Redirecting to Registration

🔍 What Is This Issue? If your white-label report share links or iframe URLs are redirecting visitors to a registration or login page instead of displaying the report, you have encountered a known recurring bug in the white-label reporting system. This issue can affect both shared report links and embedded iframe reports sent to your clients, and it has been reported to resurface on a monthly basis. This article explains what is happening and what to have ready when you contact our team to get it resolved. ⚠️ Why Does This Happen? This is a known recurring bug in the white-label reporting system. The underlying cause is handled on the backend and cannot be resolved through settings changes on your end. Because it recurs monthly, you may experience this issue again even after a previous fix. 🛠️ What to Do Because this is a backend bug, our support team will need to investigate and apply the fix on your account directly. To help us resolve it as quickly as possible, please have the following ready before reaching out: - Your white-label domain or subdomain — the custom URL you use for client-facing reports. - The specific report share link or iframe URL that is redirecting incorrectly. - The date and time you first noticed the redirect, including your timezone. - Whether this has happened to you before — note approximately when the previous occurrence was if known. - Any affected client names or project names associated with the redirecting reports. Having these details ready will allow our team to locate the issue on the backend and apply the fix without unnecessary back-and-forth. 📋 What to Expect Once our team applies the backend fix, your white-label report URLs and iframe embeds should return to displaying correctly. Because this bug is known to recur, please contact us again if you experience the redirect issue in a future month — each recurrence requires a backend fix. If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.

🛠️ Fix White-Label Report URL Redirect Issues

🔍 Overview Some agency users on Search Atlas experience a recurring issue where their white-label report URL redirects visitors to the Search Atlas register page instead of staying on the custom agency domain. This article explains why this happens and what to have ready when you contact support to get it resolved. ⚠️ What Is Happening When a white-label report link is shared with a client, the link should open inside your branded agency domain — not redirect to a generic Search Atlas registration page. This redirect bug has been reported on a recurring monthly basis and is resolved through a backend action by the Search Atlas team. It is not something customers can fix on their own through account settings. 🔄 Why This Issue Recurs This redirect issue has been reported on a recurring basis. It is caused by a platform-side bug that affects white-label URL routing for certain agency accounts. The engineering team is aware of this pattern and is working on a permanent fix. When it occurs, the resolution requires action from our support or engineering team on the backend. 📋 What to Have Ready When You Escalate To help our team resolve this as quickly as possible, please have the following information ready before reaching out: - Your agency account email address. - The exact white-label report URL that is redirecting incorrectly. - The date and approximate time you first noticed the redirect. - A brief description of whether this has happened to your account before and roughly when. If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.

⚡ Whitelabel Setup URL Format and Logo Specifications

Understanding the Whitelabel URL Format A common question when setting up whitelabel in Search Atlas is whether you can use a root domain (for example, youragency.com) or whether a subdomain is required. Important: Root domains (also called apex domains) are generally not supported for whitelabel configuration. You will typically need to use a subdomain — for example: - seo.youragency.com - reports.youragency.com - app.youragency.com Using a subdomain allows DNS records to be configured correctly so your whitelabel environment loads reliably for your clients. Configuring Your Whitelabel Domain To set up your whitelabel domain, navigate to the Whitelabel or White Label area within your Search Atlas account settings. Enter your chosen subdomain in the domain field provided and follow the DNS configuration instructions shown on that page to point your subdomain to the Search Atlas platform. If you are unsure of the exact steps required for your DNS provider, or if the settings page does not clearly indicate what is needed, please reach out to our support team directly — they can confirm the correct configuration for your account. Logo Specifications for Whitelabel Branding Search Atlas accepts logos in PNG and JPG formats for whitelabel branding. Beyond the accepted file types, the exact recommended dimensions, file size limits, and other technical constraints for logo uploads are not publicly documented in detail. If your logo does not display correctly after upload — for example, if it appears blurry, incorrectly sized, or misaligned — contact our support team with a description of the issue and the file you are trying to upload. They can advise on the optimal specifications for your specific logo and account setup. Getting Help with Your Whitelabel Setup Because whitelabel configuration details (such as exact DNS record values, supported domain formats, and logo requirements) can vary by account, the most reliable way to confirm the correct setup for your situation is to contact our team directly. When you reach out, please have the following ready: - The subdomain you intend to use (e.g., seo.youragency.com) - Your current DNS provider or domain registrar - A description of any error or issue you are encountering - The logo file you are trying to upload, if applicable If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.

🏷️ Whitelabel Reports for Existing Customer Accounts

🎯 Clearing Up a Common Misconception Whitelabel reports in Search Atlas are not limited to onboarding new clients. The feature works fully for existing customer accounts too. If you signed up to the Pro plan to brand reports for clients you already manage, you are in exactly the right place — no changes to your plan are needed. This article walks you through how to apply whitelabel settings to reports for your current clients and points you to a step-by-step video walkthrough. 📹 Video Walkthrough Before diving into the written steps, we recommend watching the Loom tutorial that covers the full whitelabel reports workflow, including use with existing accounts: Watch the Whitelabel Reports Tutorial. 🗂️ Where to Find the Reports Section To access the report builder, navigate using the left sidebar: 1. Click Reports in the left sidebar. 2. You will land on the Projects List page (/report-builder/projects-list), where all your existing and new report projects are managed. ⚙️ Applying Whitelabel Branding to an Existing Client's Reports Follow these steps to enable whitelabel branding for a client account you already have in the platform: 1. Go to Reports in the left sidebar to open the Projects List. 2. Locate the report project associated with your existing client. If you have not yet created a report project for that client, click + Create (Reports → Report Builder) and assign it to the correct client account. 3. Click your Avatar in the top right, then go to Agency Settings (White Label Setup) to access branding options (Upload Agency Logo / Brand Colors / Favicon / AI Assistant Branding). 4. Upload your agency logo and set your brand colours to replace Search Atlas default branding. 5. Enter your client-facing agency name and any custom domain or subdomain details if applicable. 6. Save your branding settings. All reports generated within this project will now display your whitelabel branding. 7. Generate or refresh the report to confirm the branding is applied correctly before sharing it with your client. These steps apply identically whether the client account was created yesterday or months ago. There is no separate workflow for new versus existing clients. ✅ What Whitelabel Reports Covers Once whitelabel branding is configured, the following elements reflect your agency identity rather than Search Atlas branding: - Logo displayed in report headers - Colour scheme throughout the report - Agency name shown to your client - Any shareable report links, depending on your plan settings ❓ Frequently Asked Questions Do I need to recreate a client account to enable whitelabeling? No. Whitelabel settings are applied at the report project level, not the account level. You can brand reports for any existing client without touching their account setup. Will previously generated reports update automatically? Branding changes apply to newly generated or refreshed reports. If you shared a report link previously, regenerate the report after saving your branding settings to ensure the updated branding is visible. Is whitelabeling available on my current plan? Whitelabel reports are included in the Pro plan. If you are on Pro and cannot see the branding options, try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache. If the options are still missing, contact support using the chat widget below. 💬 Need Help? 🔍 Fix GBP Automation, Posts & Whitelabel Reports

🗺️ Overview This article covers three common issues Search Atlas customers encounter when managing Google Business Profile (GBP) features and whitelabel reports: review reply automation pulling already-answered reviews, automated GBP posts not appearing for approval, and correctly linking GBP with whitelabel report configuration. Follow each section that applies to your situation. ⚠️ Why Is Review Reply Automation Flagging Already-Responded Reviews? Review reply automation scans your GBP for unanswered reviews. In some cases, reviews that already have a reply are incorrectly surfaced as tasks. This usually happens for one of the following reasons: - Sync delay: Search Atlas periodically syncs review data from Google. If a reply was posted recently — either manually or through another tool — the platform may not yet reflect the updated status, causing the review to appear unanswered. - Reply posted outside Search Atlas: Replies made directly in Google Business Manager or a third-party tool may not immediately update the review's status inside Search Atlas until the next sync cycle. - Duplicate automation rules: If multiple automation rules target the same review category or star rating, a review can be picked up by more than one rule and generate duplicate tasks. To resolve this: 1. Navigate to OTTO SEO → SEO Automation in the left sidebar (or go to /seo-automation-v3). 2. Open your active review reply automation and click Edit. 3. Check that no two rules share overlapping filters (e.g., the same star rating range). 4. Allow up to 24 hours for Google sync to complete and re-check whether the false tasks have cleared. 5. If a specific review continues to appear incorrectly, manually mark it as resolved inside the task list to remove it from the queue. 📝 Why Are Automated GBP Posts Not Generating for Approval? When automated GBP posts are configured but do not appear in your approval queue, the most common causes are a disconnected GBP account, an incomplete automation setup, or a scheduling conflict. Work through the following checks in order: 1. Confirm GBP is connected: Go to OTTO SEO → SEO Automation → select your project → open Settings. Under the Connections tab, verify that your Google Business Profile account shows a green Connected status. If it shows disconnected or an error, click Reconnect and complete the Google OAuth flow. 2. Check the automation rule status: In the left sidebar, go to Local (GBP Projects) and locate your GBP post rule. Confirm the toggle is set to Active. A paused or draft rule will not generate posts. 3. Review the posting schedule: Open the rule and confirm the frequency, time zone, and start date are set correctly. If the start date is in the future, no posts will be generated yet. 4. Verify approval workflow settings: If your rule requires manual approval before publishing, posts will appear in the Pending Approval queue — not auto-publish. Check that queue inside the automation panel to see if posts are waiting there. 5. Location-level permissions: For agency accounts managing multiple locations, ensure the specific location has GBP posting enabled and that the connected Google account has Manager or Owner permissions on that location in Google Business Manager. After confirming all settings, save the rule and allow up to one full scheduled cycle for a new post to generate. 🔗 How to Correctly Link Google Business Profile A properly linked GBP account is required for both review automation and post automation to function. Follow these steps to link or re-link your profile: 1. Go to OTTO SEO → SEO Automation in the left sidebar. 2. Select the project you want to configure. 3. Click Settings, then open the Connections tab. 4. Go to Local → GBP Projects and click Connect GBP Account. 5. Sign in with the Google account that has Manager or Owner access to the GBP location. 6. Select the correct Business Account and then the specific Location from the dropdown menus. 7. Click Save to confirm the connection. Important: If you manage multiple locations, repeat this process for each project. Each project should be linked to one GBP location. 📊 How to Configure Whitelabel Reports Whitelabel reports allow you to present Search Atlas data under your own brand. Here is how to set them up correctly: 1. Go to Reports → Report Builder in the left sidebar (or navigate to /report-builder/projects-list). 2. Select an existing report project or click + Create (Report Builder). 3. Open the Branding tab inside the report editor. 4. Upload your logo, set your brand colors, and enter your agency name. All Search Atlas branding will be replaced with yours in the final report. 5. To include GBP data (reviews, posts, insights) in the report, add a GBP module from the module library. The module will pull data from the GBP account linked to the selected project. 6. Confirm the correct project is selected at the top of the report builder so the GBP data source matches the intended location. 7. Click Save, then use the Share or Export options to deliver the whitelabeled report to your client. Tip: If GBP data is missing from the report module, verify that the GBP account is connected at the project level (see the section above) and that at least one sync has completed after the connection was made. ✅ Quick Troubleshooting Checklist - False review tasks: Check for overlapping automation rules and wait for the next sync cycle (up to 24 hours). - GBP posts not generating: Confirm GBP is connected, automation rule is active, and schedule/start date are correct. - GBP link issues: Reconnect via OTTO SEO → SEO Automation → Settings → Connections using an account with Manager or Owner permissions. - Whitelabel report missing GBP data: Ensure the report is linked to the correct project and GBP is connected at the project level. 💬 Need More Help? 🖼️ Fix White-Label Logo Disappearing After Save

📋 Issue Overview When you upload a custom sign-in logo in Agency Settings and click Save, the logo disappears after a page refresh. Your white-label reports then show the default branding instead of your agency logo. ✅ Root Cause and Fix This was a confirmed platform defect (Linear tickets WL-254 and SPE-783). The problem occurred because the single-page application navigation did not properly refetch your updated profile data after saving. Engineering has deployed the fix to production, so logo uploads now persist correctly. 🛠️ Steps to Upload Your Logo Successfully 1. Log in to Search Atlas and open Settings → Agency Settings → White Label Setup → Logo tab. 2. Locate the Upload Agency Logo field. 3. Click Choose File and select your logo image (recommended: PNG or SVG, max 2 MB, 300×100 px). 4. Click Continue at the bottom of the page. 5. Wait for the green confirmation toast, then refresh the page (F5 or Ctrl+R). Your logo should remain visible. ✅ Verify the Fix - Open an incognito window and visit your agency's sign-in URL. - Confirm the custom logo appears on the sign-in page. - Generate a test report to ensure white-label branding carries through. 💡 Still Having Trouble? If the logo still disappears after following these steps, clear your browser cache or try a different browser. If the issue persists, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.

🏷️ Fix White-Label Branding in Report Builder

🔍 Overview If your white-label portal is showing default Search Atlas or OTTO SEO labels instead of your custom branding — for example, displaying OTTO SEO instead of a renamed label like Harvey — this guide explains what to check and how to escalate if the issue persists. ⚙️ How White-Label Branding Works in Report Builder White-label settings control how your agency's branding appears across the platform, including reports generated in the Report Builder. Custom names, logos, and colors configured in your Agency Whitelabel settings should automatically reflect in any reports shared with clients. However, branding may not display correctly if the white-label configuration is incomplete or if the report was generated before your branding was fully configured. 🛠️ What to Check Because the exact steps to resolve this issue depend on your specific account configuration, our support team will need to investigate directly. Before reaching out, please have the following information ready: - Your project or report name where the branding is not displaying correctly. - The specific label or element that is showing the default name instead of your custom branding (for example, a feature name, logo, or agency name). - A screenshot showing the incorrect branding as it currently appears. - The date and time when you first noticed the issue. - Whether you have recently made any changes to your Agency Whitelabel settings. ✅ Quick Checklist Before Escalating - Confirm your white-label settings are fully filled in — check that your custom agency name, logo, and any renamed feature labels are entered in your Agency Whitelabel settings. - Re-save your settings — open your Agency Whitelabel configuration, review all fields, and save again to ensure no changes were lost. - Try regenerating the report — if possible, create a new report after confirming your settings are saved, as older reports may not automatically reflect updated branding. If none of the above resolves the issue, please contact our support team with the details listed above so we can investigate your account configuration directly. If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.

Bug Reporting for Whitelabel Resellers: Complete Guide

Overview If you are a Search Atlas reseller, you access the platform through a custom whitelabel URL branded for your agency. While this panel is ideal for managing clients, bug reports and support tickets should be submitted through the standard Search Atlas domain. This article explains the correct workflow for reporting bugs as a reseller. Why Use the Standard Domain for Bug Reporting The whitelabel reseller panel is a customised environment designed for client-facing work. When submitting a bug report, use the standard Search Atlas domain rather than your whitelabel URL to ensure your reseller account is properly recognised by the support team. Which Domain to Use for Bug Reporting To submit a bug report, always use the standard Search Atlas domain rather than your whitelabel URL. Log in with your reseller account credentials to access the standard platform. How to Report a Bug as a Reseller 1. Go to the standard Search Atlas domain. Do not use your whitelabel URL for this process. 2. Log in with your reseller account credentials. 3. Reproduce or locate the bug. Navigate to the area of the platform where the issue occurs. 4. Gather the details needed to escalate effectively: note the exact URL of the page where the bug appears, the precise error message or unexpected behaviour you are seeing, the date and time the issue occurred, and the name of the affected project or client account if applicable. 5. Contact the support team while logged in through the standard Search Atlas domain with the details above ready so the team can investigate and resolve your report as quickly as possible. If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.

🎨 White Label Dashboard Color Limitations Explained

📋 Overview of White Label Branding When you enable white label branding for your Search Atlas account, your custom brand color replaces the default Search Atlas purple on the login and registration pages. This helps create a seamless experience for your clients when they first access the platform. However, there are current limitations on where your custom color appears once users are logged into the dashboard. 🔒 Where Custom Colors Apply - Login page - Registration page These are the only pages where your white label brand color fully replaces the Search Atlas purple. 📊 Dashboard and Report Limitations After logging in, the following elements retain the Search Atlas purple color regardless of your white label settings: - Left sidebar navigation in the dashboard - Generated reports - Other dashboard interface elements This is a known platform limitation. The purple color will stay in the left side menu navigation for the dashboard, and reports will continue to use Search Atlas branding colors. 👥 Admin vs Client View Differences As an agency admin, you may see a mix of Search Atlas branding and your white label branding throughout the platform. This is expected behavior. Your clients will also see the Search Atlas purple in the dashboard navigation and reports, even though they access the platform through your white labeled login page. 🛠️ Platform Name Customization While color customization is limited, you can customize the platform name that appears in place of "Search Atlas" (for example, changing "OTTO" to your preferred replacement name). This name change applies across the platform where the Search Atlas brand name would normally appear. 🚀 Future Improvements Engineering tickets are currently open to add custom dashboard color support for white label accounts across multiple modules including Home Page, Authority, Smart Ads, and Local. These features are in development but do not have confirmed release dates. 💡 Need Help? 🎨 Fix White Label Branding Colors in Reports

🔍 Overview If you have configured custom branding colors in your White Label settings but those colors are not appearing in your reports, you are not alone. This is a known issue currently being addressed by our engineering team. This article explains what is happening, which areas are affected, and what you can do in the meantime. ⚠️ Known Issue: Brand Colors Not Applying to Reports Our team has identified that custom White Label brand colors are not consistently applying across all areas of the platform. The following areas are affected: - Report Builder (PDF and HTML exports): Custom dashboard colors defined in your White Label settings are not yet inherited by generated reports. A fix is currently in development. - White Label Dashboard and Pricing Page: Brand colors may not fully apply to the White Label client-facing dashboard and pricing page. This is actively being developed. - Authority Section: Custom color support for the Authority dashboard is open and scheduled for a future release. - Home Page: White Label brand color support for the Home page is also open and planned for an upcoming update. The fix for Report Builder color support has already been completed in our system and is part of a broader rollout. Full color inheritance across all White Label areas — including PDF and HTML report generation — is currently in active development. ✅ What Is Currently Working Your White Label branding colors that you have saved in your White Label settings are stored correctly. The issue is with how those colors are rendered in certain areas of the platform, not with how they are saved. Your configuration does not need to be re-entered once the fix is fully deployed. 🛠️ Steps to Take Right Now 1. Verify your brand colors are saved correctly. Navigate to your White Label settings and confirm your primary, secondary, and accent colors are entered and saved as intended. This ensures your colors will apply automatically once the fix is deployed. 2. Check your reports in the Report Builder. Go to Left sidebar → Reports (or navigate to /report-builder/projects-list) and open an existing report or generate a new one to see the current state of color rendering in your account. 3. Re-generate any existing reports. In some cases, regenerating a report after re-saving your White Label settings can prompt the latest available color styles to apply. This may partially improve results depending on your account configuration. 4. Note the affected sections. If you are preparing reports or dashboards for clients, be aware that the White Label dashboard, pricing page, Authority section, and Home page may also display default colors rather than your custom brand colors until the full fix is deployed. 💡 Tips While You Wait for the Full Fix - If you are sharing reports with clients before the fix is live, consider adding a brief note to clients that custom branding is being finalized, so they are aware of the temporary appearance. - Avoid making repeated changes to your White Label color settings as a troubleshooting step — your saved configuration is correct and will be used once the platform rendering is updated. - Keep an eye on platform release notes and announcements for updates on when full White Label color support will be available across all sections. 📋 Summary of Affected Areas and Status - Report Builder (PDF/HTML): Fix in active development — coming soon. - White Label Dashboard and Pricing Page: Fix in active development. - Authority Section: Scheduled for a future release. - Home Page: Scheduled for a future release. 💬 Need More Help? 🎨 Customize White-Label Report Colors and Branding

🗺️ Overview Search Atlas white-label reports let you present SEO data under your own brand. A common question is whether you can change the default dark background to white and apply a custom header color. This article explains what is currently available and what is coming soon. ⚙️ Where White-Label Settings Live All white-label configuration is managed in one central location: 1. In the header, click the apps-grid icon and select More Features. 2. Select Agency Hub. You will land on the /agency-settings page. 3. From here you can access White Label Setup and Settings to manage your branding. Report generation itself is handled separately via Reports in the left sidebar (/report-builder/projects-list), where you can create, refresh, download, and schedule automated email reports. 🎨 Current Background and Header Color Options At this time, white-label report styling is tied to the brand assets you configure in your More Features → Agency Hub (Set up your Agency's White Label) settings. Here is what you can do today: - Logo: Upload your agency or client logo so it appears in report headers. - Brand assets: Uploaded brand assets are rendered in the Report Viewer and included in PDF exports. - Dashboard colors: Custom dashboard color settings are supported for white-label accounts. If your reports are currently displaying a dark or black background, this reflects the default report theme. A full color-picker for report backgrounds and header colors is not yet available as a self-serve control in the UI. 🚀 What Is Coming Soon The Search Atlas product team is actively building expanded branding controls for white-label reports. Upcoming features include: - Background color selector — switch from the default dark theme to white or any custom color. - Header color customization — apply your brand's primary color to report headers. - Brand Vault selector with live preview — choose saved brand profiles and see changes in real time before publishing. - Per-report branding override panel — apply unique branding to individual reports directly inside the report editor. These features are currently in development and will be rolled out progressively. No action is required on your end — updates will appear automatically in your account once released. ✅ Best Practice in the Meantime While full color customization is being built, you can still deliver polished, on-brand reports by following these steps: 1. Go to More Features → Agency Hub and complete all fields under White Label Setup, including your logo and any available color fields. 2. Navigate to Reports in the left sidebar and create or open an existing report. 3. Use the Download .CSV or PDF export option to share reports with clients — your uploaded brand assets will appear in the exported output. 4. Set up Automated email reports so clients receive branded reports on a schedule without manual effort. 💡 Tips - Keep your logo file high-resolution and on a transparent background so it looks sharp on any report theme. - Check More Features → Agency Hub (Set up your Agency's White Label) regularly — new branding controls will appear there as features are released. - If a client needs a white-background report urgently, exporting to PDF and adjusting in a design tool is a reliable interim workaround. 🆘 Need Help? 🏷️ Which Search Atlas Reports Support White-Labeling

🔍 Overview Not every report in Search Atlas supports white-labeling out of the box. This article explains which reports can be white-labeled, which cannot, and how to use Report Builder as the recommended solution for delivering fully branded reports to your clients. 📋 White-Label Support by Report Type Use the list below to quickly identify whether a report supports white-labeling. - Report Builder (Custom Reports) — ✅ Full white-label support. You can apply your agency branding when building a custom report. - Site Audit — Issues Page (public URL) — ❌ Not white-labelable. The shareable public URL for Site Audit issues displays Search Atlas branding and cannot be customized. - Other technical reports — Not white-labelable as standalone exports. Use Report Builder to include that data in a branded report instead. Summary: Report Builder is the only feature in Search Atlas that produces fully white-labeled, client-ready reports. ⚠️ Important Note on Site Audit Public URLs When you share a Site Audit report using the public shareable link, that page is hosted by Search Atlas and displays Search Atlas branding. There is currently no option to apply white-label settings to this URL. If you need to share Site Audit findings with a client under your own brand, the correct approach is to recreate that report inside Report Builder. 🛠️ How to White-Label a Report Using Report Builder Report Builder lets you combine data from multiple sources into a single branded report. Follow these steps: 1. In the left sidebar, navigate to Reports to open Report Builder. 2. Create a new report or open an existing one. 3. Select the client project you want to report on. 4. Use the template editor to add the data sections you need. 5. Apply your agency branding using the available branding options in the report editor. 6. Preview the report to confirm branding is applied correctly. 7. Share or export the finished report to deliver it to your client. 🎨 Setting Up White Label Branding and Customizing Your Dashboard Colors

📋 Overview White label branding lets you present the Search Atlas platform as your own. When configured correctly, your team and clients log in through your custom domain and see your brand colors, logo, and naming throughout the dashboard instead of the default Search Atlas styling. This article explains how to set up team access, apply your custom colors, and rebrand the OTTO assistant so nothing reverts to the original Search Atlas look. ✅ Before You Begin White label features are available on plans that include white label access. You will need administrator permissions on your account to make these changes. Have the following ready: - Your custom domain or subdomain (for example, app.yourcompany.com). - Your brand logo files in a web-friendly format such as PNG or SVG. - Your brand color values, ideally as HEX codes (for example, #0057B8 for your custom blue). 🌐 Step 1: Configure Your White Label Domain Your white label site is the branded address your team and clients use to log in. To set it up: 1. Open the Settings area and select White Label. 2. Enter your custom domain or subdomain in the domain field. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions to verify domain ownership and connect your DNS records. 4. Save your changes and allow time for the domain to finish connecting. Once your domain is active, all team members and clients should log in through that branded address rather than the standard Search Atlas URL. This is the most common reason branding appears inconsistent: logging in through the original Search Atlas address shows the default styling, not your custom theme. 👥 Step 2: Add Your Team to the White Label Site After your domain is live, invite your team so they access the platform through your branded login: 1. Go to Settings and select Team or Users. 2. Choose Invite or Add User and enter each team member's details. 3. Assign the appropriate role and permissions for each person. 4. Send the invitation. Team members should accept it and then log in through your white label domain. Confirm that everyone is using the branded login link. If a team member logs in through the default Search Atlas address, they will see the standard branding even though your white label settings are correct. 🎨 Step 3: Apply Your Custom Colors and Logo To replace the default Search Atlas purple with your own brand colors: 1. In More Features, open Agency Hub (White Label branding section). 2. Upload your logo in the logo fields provided. 3. Enter your brand color HEX codes in the color fields, such as your custom blue for the primary color. 4. Save your changes. After saving, refresh your browser to load the updated theme. If the dashboard still shows the default purple, the most common causes are unsaved color fields, a cached browser session, or logging in through the non-branded URL. Clear your browser cache or open a private window, then log in again through your white label domain. Please also note that support for custom dashboard colors is still being added to some individual tools, including Keywords, Local, Content, Authority, Smart Ads, and the Home Page. If your custom colors apply across most of the dashboard but a specific section still shows the default styling even after saving and clearing your cache, that area may not yet support custom colors while this work is in progress. 🤖 Step 4: Rebrand the OTTO Assistant Name The OTTO assistant can be renamed so it reflects your brand instead of showing the default name. To update it: 1. Open More Features and select Agency Hub. 2. Locate the field for the assistant or bot name. 3. Enter your preferred custom name. 4. Save your changes and refresh the dashboard to confirm the new name appears. If the OTTO name is still visible, check that the custom name field is filled in and saved, and confirm you are viewing the platform through your branded domain. 🔍 Why Branding May Still Look Incorrect If your custom branding is not displaying as expected, review these common causes: - Wrong login URL: Team members must log in through your white label domain, not the standard Search Atlas address. - Unsaved settings: Each branding field, including colors and the assistant name, must be saved individually. - Browser cache: Old styling can remain cached. Refresh, clear the cache, or use a private window. - Domain still connecting: A newly added domain may need time to finish verifying before branding fully applies. - Custom colors not yet supported in every section: Custom dashboard color support is being rolled out across individual tools (such as Keywords, Local, Content, Authority, Smart Ads, and the Home Page). Some sections may continue to show the default styling while this work is in progress, even when your settings are saved correctly. 💬 Need More Help? 🏷️ Agency White-Label Logo Upload Not Working

What This Article Covers Some users have found that the logo upload button in the Agency Hub white-label setup does not respond when clicked, or that brand color settings cannot be changed. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve this on your own before reaching out to support. Troubleshooting Steps Work through these steps in order. Most users are able to resolve the issue before reaching the end of the list. 1. Try a different browser. If you are using Chrome on Windows, switch to Firefox or Edge. This issue has been reported specifically on Chrome for Windows and switching browsers has resolved it for many users. 2. Open an incognito or private window. Browser extensions can interfere with file picker dialogs. Open an incognito window (Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N / Mac: Cmd+Shift+N), navigate to the Agency Hub white-label setup, and attempt the upload again. 3. Clear your browser cache and cookies. Go to your browser settings, clear cached images and files as well as cookies, then reload the page and try again. 4. Check your image file format and size. Use a PNG or JPG file under 2 MB. Files that are too large or in an unsupported format (e.g., WEBP, SVG, HEIC) may cause the button to appear unresponsive without showing an error. 5. Disable browser extensions temporarily. Ad blockers, privacy extensions, and script blockers can prevent the file picker from opening. Disable all extensions, reload the page, and retry the upload. 6. Refresh the page and try again. If a previous upload attempt timed out, a simple hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R) can clear the stuck state. Still Not Working? If you have tried all of the steps above and the logo upload button is still unresponsive or your brand color settings are not saving, please reach out to our support team via the chat widget below and include the following details so we can investigate efficiently: - The browser and operating system you are using - A brief description of what happens when you click the upload button (for example, nothing happens, an error appears, or the page reloads) - Which troubleshooting steps you have already tried - The file format and size of the logo you are trying to upload You can also start a live chat with us by clicking the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and typing human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.

🏢 White-Label vs. Brand Vault: Choosing the Right Structure

🔍 Overview If you run multiple businesses or white-label services under different brand identities, it is important to understand which Search Atlas feature fits your situation. There are two distinct scenarios, and choosing the wrong setup can limit your branding options or cause confusion across client workspaces. ⚖️ The Two Scenarios at a Glance Before diving into the details, use this quick guide to identify your situation: - You manage multiple clients under one agency brand → Use Brand Vaults inside a single Search Atlas account. - You operate two or more businesses with different logos, names, or white-label branding → You need a separate Search Atlas account for each business. 🏷️ What Brand Vaults Do (and Do Not Do) Brand Vaults are designed for agencies that work with multiple clients but operate under a single agency identity. A Brand Vault lets you store each client's logo, colors, and brand assets so that reports and deliverables reflect that client's branding — all from within one Search Atlas account. Brand Vaults are the right choice when: - You have one agency with one logo and one Search Atlas subscription. - You produce white-labeled reports for individual clients, each with their own look and feel. - All client work is managed by the same internal team under the same business entity. Brand Vaults cannot: - Give two separate agencies or business entities their own distinct platform identity. - Support different agency logos appearing across the platform interface itself. - Function as isolated account environments for separate legal or operating entities. 🏗️ When You Need Separate Search Atlas Accounts If you operate two or more white-label businesses — for example, two marketing agencies with different names, logos, and client rosters — each business requires its own dedicated Search Atlas account. This is the only way to maintain fully separate branding, billing, team access, and platform environments per company. Separate accounts are required when: - Two businesses have different company names and logos that must appear independently throughout the platform. - Each business has its own clients, and those clients should never see data or branding from the other business. - You need separate team member access controls and billing for each entity. - You are reselling Search Atlas under different white-label brands and need complete separation. In your case — two marketing agencies with different names and logos serving separate client bases — you need two separate Search Atlas accounts, one for each agency. 📋 Setting Up Multiple Accounts Creating a separate account for each business is straightforward. Follow these steps to get started: 1. Sign up for a new Search Atlas account using the credentials and billing information for the second business entity. 2. Configure the white-label branding settings within that new account to reflect the second agency's name and logo. 3. Invite the relevant team members to each account separately, so access remains isolated per business. 4. Set up Brand Vaults within each account as needed to manage individual client branding under each agency. 🖼️ Upload and Update Your Search Atlas Logo

🔍 Overview Your logo appears in your Search Atlas account and on any client-facing reports you generate. If your logo is not loading or displaying correctly, the most common cause is an image that does not meet the platform's size or format requirements. This article explains exactly what is accepted and how to upload your logo successfully. 📐 Logo Requirements Before uploading, make sure your logo file meets all of the following specifications: - Maximum dimensions: Less than 256 pixels on each side (width and height must both be under 256px) - Recommended format: PNG with a transparent background for the best visual result - Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, SVG - File size: Keep the file as small as possible while maintaining quality; large files may fail to upload or load slowly Important: Images at 256px or larger will not upload correctly. Resize your logo to under 256px on both dimensions before attempting to upload. 🚀 How to Upload Your Logo 1. Log in to your Search Atlas account. 2. Click your profile icon or account name in the top-right corner of the dashboard. 3. Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu. 4. Navigate to the Branding or Profile section. 5. Click Upload Logo or the existing logo placeholder. 6. Select your prepared image file from your device. 7. Click Save to apply the change. Once saved, your logo will appear in the platform header and on generated reports within a few moments. Refresh the page if it does not appear immediately. 🛠️ Troubleshooting Logo Upload Issues If your logo still does not load after uploading, work through the following steps in order: - Check the image dimensions: Open the file on your device and confirm both the width and height are under 256px. Even one dimension at 256px or above will cause the upload to fail or the image not to display. - Resize the image: Use a free tool such as Canva, Adobe Express, or your operating system's built-in image editor to resize the file below 256px on both sides. - Check the file format: Rename the file if necessary to ensure the extension matches the actual file type (for example, a file saved as .png should genuinely be a PNG image, not a renamed JPG). - Clear your browser cache: After uploading, hold Shift and click the refresh button, or open the page in a private or incognito window to confirm the logo loads without cached data interfering. - Try a different browser: If the issue persists, test the upload in a second browser such as Chrome or Firefox to rule out a browser-specific conflict. - Check your internet connection: A slow or unstable connection can interrupt file uploads. Switch networks or reconnect and try again. - Disable browser extensions: Ad blockers or privacy extensions can occasionally block file upload dialogs. Temporarily disable them and retry. ❓ Frequently Asked Questions Can I use a logo larger than 256px? No. The Search Atlas platform requires logo images to be smaller than 256px on both the width and height. Images at or above this threshold will not display correctly. Always resize before uploading. What is the best format to use? PNG with a transparent background is strongly recommended. It produces a clean result on both light and dark backgrounds and is widely supported by the platform. My logo uploaded but looks blurry — what should I do? This usually happens when a very small image is stretched. Start with the highest quality version of your logo available and resize it to just under 256px rather than scaling a tiny image up. Will my logo appear on client reports? Yes. Once your logo is saved in your account settings, it will automatically appear on reports generated within Search Atlas, giving your deliverables a branded appearance. 💬 Still Need Help? 🛠️ Fix White-Label Report Showing OTTO Name

🔍 What's Happening If you've configured a custom name for OTTO SEO in your white-label settings — for example, Harvey or Evo — you may notice that some reports still display OTTO SEO instead of your chosen name. This is a known issue that affects white-labeled reports. ⚙️ Why This Occurs When you set a white-label product name in your settings, most of the platform updates to reflect your custom branding. However, certain areas of the Report Builder contain hardcoded references to OTTO SEO that are not yet fully connected to your white-label configuration. Our development team is actively working to ensure every reference across the platform respects your white-label name. 📋 Known Affected Areas Reports generated through the Report Builder may currently display the default name instead of your custom one. If you encounter this issue, please note the specific report sections affected so our team can investigate further. 🚀 Current Fix Status Our engineering team is aware of this issue and is actively working on a fix. Additional fixes targeting the Report Builder are currently in development and will be released as they become available. 🛠️ What You Can Do Now While the permanent fix is being completed, follow these steps to minimize the impact on your client deliverables: 1. Verify your white-label name is saved correctly. Check your white-label settings and confirm your custom product name is entered and saved properly. Even if some reports don't reflect it yet, this ensures the name propagates once fixes are released. 2. Regenerate your reports. After confirming your settings, generate a fresh report from the Report Builder. Some sections may already reflect your white-label name correctly. 3. Review reports before client delivery. Always preview your report and use the find feature to search for any remaining references to OTTO before sending. 💬 Still Need Help? We understand that branding consistency is critical for your client deliverables. If you are experiencing this issue, please reach out with your project name, the specific report sections where OTTO SEO still appears, and screenshots of the affected report so our team can assist you further. 🏷️ White-Label Branding: What Gets Customized and What Stays as Search Atlas

✅ What white-label branding changes - Login page — your logo and brand colors replace Search Atlas branding - Registration page — same as login - Email communications — sent from your white-label domain - Custom domain URL — clients access the platform through your branded URL 🔒 What stays as Search Atlas inside the dashboard The admin dashboard interior retains some Search Atlas elements: - Purple accent color in the admin interface — the interior UI colors (header, sidebar, buttons, and text highlights) remain fixed to the default Search Atlas theme - The OTTO bot name (appears as "OTTO" not your custom name) - Search Atlas support links in some areas This is expected behavior — full interior dashboard color rebranding is not yet available across the platform. Support for customizing interior dashboard colors is being rolled out module by module: it is already live for the Reports module, while customization for other areas (Home page, Authority, Content, Site Metrics, and Smart Ads) is still in development. There is currently no single setting that recolors the entire interior dashboard. ⚙️ How to set up white-label branding 1. Click the apps-grid icon in the header → More Features → Agency Hub (Set up your Agency's White Label) 2. Upload your logo and set your brand colors 3. Configure your custom domain 4. Invite clients through your white-label domain URL 📊 Shared reports and white-label When sharing reports with clients, always generate and share them while logged into your white-label domain, not through dashboard.searchatlas.com. Reports shared from the SA domain will show SA branding.
