Routines let you schedule recurring reports and tasks that Search Atlas Coworker runs automatically and posts to a Slack channel or DM on your chosen schedule — no manual check-ins required.

What You Can Automate

  • Weekly GSC performance summaries posted to your team channel
  • Daily ranking changes for your top keywords
  • Monthly site audit reports
  • Scheduled alerts when specific metrics change significantly
  • Any recurring request you would otherwise send Search Atlas Coworker manually

How to Create a Routine

Just describe what you want in plain language.

Examples:

  • "Every Monday at 9am, post a summary of last week's GSC performance to #seo-team."
  • "Every day at 8am, send me the top 10 ranking changes for my tracked keywords."
  • "On the first of each month, run a site audit and post the critical issues to #website."

Search Atlas Coworker will confirm the details of the routine and show you an approval card summarizing what it will do, when, and where it will post the results.

Reviewing and Approving the Routine

The approval card shows:

  • The task Search Atlas Coworker will perform
  • The schedule (frequency, time, and timezone)
  • The Slack channel or DM where results will be posted

Click Approve to activate the routine. The first run will happen at the next scheduled time.

Managing Existing Routines

You can manage your routines at any time by asking Search Atlas Coworker:

  • "Show me my active routines." — lists all running automations
  • "Pause my weekly GSC report." — suspends a routine without deleting it
  • "Delete my daily ranking report." — permanently removes the routine
  • "Change my Monday GSC report to Fridays at 5pm." — updates the schedule

Timezone

Search Atlas Coworker uses the timezone of your Slack workspace by default. You can specify a different timezone when creating a routine: "Every Monday at 9am New York time."
