📊 Fix GSC Quota Errors and Understand Plan Limits

🔍 What Does the 'Quota Exceeded' Error Mean?

When you try to connect a Google Search Console (GSC) site and see a Quota Exceeded error, it means you have reached the maximum number of GSC sites allowed on your current plan across your workspace.

This is not a Google-side error. The limit is enforced by Search Atlas based on the plan your workspace is subscribed to.

📋 GSC Site Limits by Plan

Each Search Atlas plan includes a set number of GSC site connections. If your workspace has reached the maximum for your current plan, you must either remove an existing GSC site or upgrade to a higher plan before adding a new one.

If your workspace has not yet reached the maximum for your plan, re-check whether the site you are adding is a duplicate, improperly formatted, or already connected under a different property type (domain vs. URL prefix).

🛠️ How to Fix a Quota Exceeded Error

  1. Navigate to your GSC integrations area within the Search Atlas dashboard.
  2. Review your connected sites and identify any that are no longer needed.
  3. Disconnect any site you no longer require to free up a slot.
  4. Try adding your new GSC site again.

If you need all existing sites and still require more connections, upgrading your plan is the recommended solution. You can find plan and billing options by clicking your avatar in the top-right and selecting Billing.

  1. Open Billing from the top-right avatar menu in the Search Atlas dashboard.
  2. Review the available plans and identify one that meets your GSC site connection needs.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps to upgrade.

🎁 GSC Connections During a Free Trial

The number of GSC site connections available to you depends on the plan tier selected when you started your free trial. To confirm exactly which features and limits apply to your current trial, check your account's plan details page or contact our team for clarification.
