Some customers using Content Genius with a German-language project have noticed that the Meta Generator produces output in Dutch instead of German. This is a known bug that our engineering team is actively investigating.
Because this issue requires backend investigation, there are no self-serve steps that will reliably resolve it. Please follow the guidance below to help our team identify and fix the problem for your account as quickly as possible.
⚙️ What to Have Ready When You Escalate
To help our support team investigate your case efficiently, please have the following information available before reaching out:
- Project name — the exact name of the project where Dutch output is appearing.
- Expected language — confirm that the project is intended to generate content in German.
- Where the wrong output occurs — for example, whether it happens on first generation, on regeneration, or in a specific part of the Meta Generator workflow.
- A screenshot or copy of the incorrect output — showing the Dutch text that was generated instead of German.
- Approximate date and time of when you first noticed the issue, including your timezone.
💡 What to Do in the Meantime
- If you need meta content urgently, you can manually edit any Dutch output directly in the editor to correct the language while the bug is being resolved.
- Avoid running repeated regenerations in the hope of triggering correct output, as this is unlikely to resolve the underlying issue and may consume generation credits.
