π What this article covers
Domain Knowledge Network (DKN) recommends blog topics for your site. If you write and publish that page outside Search Atlas, the recommendation stays open until you update it. This article explains how to mark an external blog as completed or remove a recommendation you will not use.
β Mark a published blog as completed
Use this when the page is already live on your site, even if it was written in another tool.
- Open the correct site project in Search Atlas.
- Go to Domain Knowledge Network and find the recommended blog.
- Open the recommendationβs actions or status menu.
- Choose Mark as completed (or the equivalent completed or published status).
- If a URL field is shown, paste the live page address so the recommendation is tied to the published article.
- Save the change. The item should leave your active to-do list and show as completed.
Publishing the page on your website does not update DKN by itself. You need to mark the recommendation completed inside the platform.
ποΈ Remove a recommendation you will not use
Use remove or dismiss only when you do not plan to publish that topic. This does not delete a live page on your website.
- Open the site project and go to Domain Knowledge Network.
- Find the blog recommendation.
- Open its actions menu and choose Remove or Dismiss.
- Confirm the action. The idea is taken off your active recommendation list.
Completed means the topic was published and should stay on record. Removed means you are skipping that idea. Do not remove a topic you already published if you want Search Atlas to treat it as done.
π‘ If you cannot find the option
- Confirm you are in the project that generated the DKN recommendations.
- Search the DKN list by the recommended title or target topic.
- Check filters. Completed or dismissed items may be hidden from the active view.
- Refresh the page after saving so the status updates.
- Match the recommendation to the final article even if the live title was edited slightly.
Marking a recommendation complete or removing it changes only its status in Search Atlas. It does not edit, unpublish, or delete the page on your website.
