Content Genius does not accept uploaded content briefs. The platform generates its own brief automatically as part of a five-stage AI pipeline. You guide the output through keyword inputs, a heading review, and optional plain-text instructions — not by uploading a file or document. Although you cannot supply your own brief, the system-generated Content Brief can be exported after generation completes.
🔄 How the Pipeline Works
When you submit an article title and target domain, Content Genius runs five automated stages in sequence:
- Information Retrieval — live SERP and source analysis
- Knowledge Graph Structuring — topic and entity mapping
- Heading Alignment — generates an H1/H2/H3 outline for your review
- Content Brief Generation — the system builds the brief internally from collected data
- Synthesis and Microagent Refinement — the article is drafted and polished by AI
Stage 4, Content Brief Generation, is a fully automated system step. The platform creates the brief from its own research — you do not supply or upload one.
📋 Step-by-Step: Creating an Article
- Open Content Genius (Left sidebar → Content → Content Genius) and start a new article.
- Enter your article title and target domain (both required).
- Optionally add up to 3 target keywords, a language, and a location.
- The system runs information retrieval and generates a headings outline automatically.
- Review the outline — you can edit, reorder, or remove headings before approving.
- Click Generate. An Additional Instructions text field appears — use it to add plain-text guidance such as tone preferences, formatting requirements, or content focus. This is a text field, not a file upload.
- Wait 2–3 minutes for generation to complete.
- Once complete, the system-generated Content Brief can be exported if you need it for reference or external use.
- Refine the draft using the built-in microagents for tone, clarity, internal links, visuals, and more.
⚠️ Limitations to Know
- There is no file attachment option at any stage — no PDF, Word document, or Google Doc upload. You cannot replace the system-generated brief with one of your own.
- The Additional Instructions field accepts plain text only (not a document or brief template); use it for tone, style, formatting guidance, and content focus.
- Maximum of 3 keywords per article at creation time.
- Once article generation starts, it cannot be interrupted mid-run.
- Currently, Content Genius generates standard articles. Support for additional content types — including service pages, listicles, product pages, and about pages — is awaiting release.
