Content Genius articles can be published to a Website Studio site (as well as to WordPress and through Universal CMS connectors such as Shopify and HubSpot). If you prefer a chat-based workflow, you can also copy an article's content into the Website Studio chat, upload images to the Media Library first, and include every detail explicitly in your prompt.
⚠️ Why the Website Studio Publish button is missing
A direct Content Genius to Website Studio integration does not exist at this time. Earlier Knowledge Base instructions described a Publish button and an automatic hand-off that the product does not currently support, which is why you could not find the button and kept receiving errors.
We are correcting that article. If you still have the outdated version open, close it and follow this guide instead—this article replaces the older instructions that referenced a Publish button. In the meantime, use the chat-based workaround below to move your content into Website Studio successfully.
🛠️ How to publish a Content Genius article in Website Studio
Follow these steps in order to move your finished article into Website Studio without errors.
Step 1: Copy the article content into the Website Studio chat
- Open your finished article in Content Genius and copy the full text.
- Paste the text directly into the Website Studio chat.
- Do not paste a Google Doc link. The AI cannot open external links, so any content behind a link is ignored and can trigger errors.
Step 2: Upload images to the Media Library first
- Upload each image to the site's Media Library before you reference it.
- Note the exact filename of each uploaded image.
- Reference each image by its Media Library filename in your prompt so Website Studio can place it correctly.
- Website Studio inserts each image at the location you describe in the prompt. If the placement is not exactly where you want it, move or adjust the image manually in the Website Studio editor after the page is generated.
Step 3: Include every detail explicitly in the prompt
- Type out all specifics the article needs, such as company phone numbers, calls to action (CTAs), and links.
- Spell out the structure, tone, target audience, headline, sections, bullet points, formatting preferences, and any SEO keywords—anything you expect on the finished page should be written into the prompt.
- Write every important detail directly into the prompt, since the AI cannot retrieve it from an external source.
- Example: "Convert this Content Genius article [topic] into a Website Studio post. Include the headline, all sections, and bullet points, and style it for [audience]. Place [Image Name 1] after the introduction and [Image Name 2] in the conclusion."
When these steps are complete, Website Studio generates your page from the pasted content and referenced images without the repeated error messages. Once the page appears in the Website Studio editor with your text, images, and details in place, review the page, adjust any image placement if needed, and save or publish it from the editor.

🛟 Website Studio error messages and credit reset
The repeated errors you saw over the past 24 hours came from referencing content the AI could not access, such as Google Doc links or external image sources. Pasting content directly and referencing Media Library filenames resolves these errors.
