If your invoices currently display your personal name or an incorrect name instead of your registered company name, you can request a correction through our support team. A self-serve billing details editor is actively being developed and will be available soon — but in the meantime, our team can update your invoice name quickly.
⚙️ How Invoice Names Are Set
Your invoice name is pulled from the billing profile attached to your Search Atlas account. At this time, there is no dedicated Billing / Company Information section in the platform settings where you can edit this directly. This functionality is coming in a future update. Until then, all billing name changes must be handled by our support team.
✏️ How to Request a Company Name Change
- Open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform.
- Type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.
- Provide the following details:
- Your registered company name exactly as it should appear (e.g., HIGH FREQUENCY TRADING NETWORK PTE. LTD.)
- The invoice number(s) you need updated
- Any additional billing details you want added, such as a Tax ID or billing address
Our team will update your billing profile and reissue or correct the affected invoice(s) as quickly as possible.
🔄 Can Past Invoices Be Updated?
Yes. If you have already paid an invoice and need the company name corrected retroactively, our team can apply the change to previously issued invoices. Make sure to include the relevant invoice numbers in your support request so the team can locate them quickly.
📋 What Information to Have Ready
To speed up your request, gather the following before contacting support:
- Full legal company name — include suffixes like PTE. LTD., LLC, or INC. exactly as registered
- Invoice number(s) — found in your billing history inside the platform
- Tax ID or VAT number (optional, but required for tax-compliant invoices in some regions)
- Registered business address (optional, if you need it printed on the invoice)

We are actively building a self-serve Billing Details section directly on the /billing page. This will allow you to edit your legal name, address, and Tax ID at any time, with changes automatically synced and reflected on future invoices. Keep an eye on our product updates for announcements.
