Every Search Atlas plan includes a set number of OTTO sites. If you need more, you can either:
- Add OTTO site packs on top of your current plan, or
- Upgrade your base plan, which includes a higher OTTO site allowance at a fixed monthly price.
The cheapest choice depends on how many total OTTO sites you need. Use the steps below to work out your personal comparison.
🔢 How to Compare Your Options
To figure out whether adding OTTO site packs or upgrading your plan is cheaper, follow these steps:
- Check your current plan's base price and included OTTO site count. You can find both in the Billing section of your Search Atlas account.
- Check the price of the next plan tier and how many OTTO sites it includes. This is available on the pricing page inside your account or on the Search Atlas website.
- Calculate how many additional sites you would need on your current plan. Subtract your included sites from your total required sites to get the extra sites needed.
- Look up the add-on price per OTTO site for your account. Add-on pricing may vary by plan tier and pack size — the exact current rate is shown at checkout when you select additional sites in your billing settings.
- Compare the two totals. Add the add-on cost to your current base price, then compare that figure against the price of the upgraded plan.
Example formula: New Monthly Total (add-on route) = Current Plan Price + (Extra Sites Needed × Add-On Price Per Site)
If the upgraded plan's price is lower than or close to that total, upgrading is likely the better value. If the add-on cost is small, staying on your current plan may be more economical.

- Go to Billing in your Search Atlas dashboard to see your active plan details and the add-on pricing available to you.
- Visit the Plans or Upgrade page to compare all available plan tiers and their included OTTO site allocations side by side.
- When you select additional OTTO sites at checkout, the per-site cost and total are shown before you confirm any purchase.
