OTTO's installation experience has been upgraded with AI assistant shortcuts and smarter schema management, making it faster and easier to get your site fully set up.
✨ What's New
OTTO now guides users through installation with built-in AI assistant support across multiple touchpoints. A dedicated Use AI Assistant tab has been added to the OTTO installation onboarding modal, along with a Copy AI Prompt button so you can hand off setup instructions to your preferred coding assistant in one click. The Installation Guide page now features a coding-assistant nudge banner with the same Copy AI Prompt option, and when you choose to email your developer, the message body automatically includes an AI assistant shortcut and a proactive prompt to streamline the handoff. Additionally, you can now bulk delete schema suggestions directly within OTTO, saving time when managing large sets of schema recommendations.
🛠️ How to Use It
- Open OTTO and navigate to the installation onboarding modal.
- Select the Use AI Assistant tab to access the AI-powered setup flow.
- Click Copy AI Prompt to copy the pre-built prompt and paste it into your coding assistant.
- Alternatively, visit the Installation Guide page and use the coding-assistant nudge banner to copy the prompt from there.
- If emailing your developer, the AI assistant shortcut and proactive prompt are already included in the email body automatically.
- To bulk delete schema suggestions, go to the Schema Suggestions section in OTTO, select the items you want to remove, and use the bulk delete option.
📋 What to Expect
The Copy AI Prompt button is available in both the onboarding modal and the Installation Guide page — both generate the same ready-to-use prompt. The AI assistant tab and nudge banner are purely optional; existing manual installation steps remain fully accessible. Bulk delete for schema suggestions applies only to items listed in the OTTO schema suggestions panel and cannot be undone, so review your selection before confirming. A previously reported issue where the SA project selector dropdown would detach from its trigger when scrolling has also been resolved.
