🔍 Understand the connection status

The WordPress MetaSync plugin may not be detected. When it is not detected, the OTTO script is an alternative installation method.

🔁 Check the WordPress plugin

  1. Sign in to WordPress and open the MetaSync plugin settings.
  2. Check whether the MetaSync plugin is detected in Search Atlas.

🚀 Install the OTTO script instead

  1. If the MetaSync plugin is not detected, use the OTTO script installation method.
  2. Copy the OTTO script provided for your site and add it to the required location on your WordPress site.
  3. Save or publish the change so the script is active on the live site.

✅ Verify the installation

  • Return to Search Atlas and check whether the site is detected.
  • If it is still not detected, confirm that the OTTO script was saved and published on the live site.

💬 Get help with unresolved issues

If the issue remains unresolved, confirm that the MetaSync plugin is not detected and that the OTTO script has been added and published.
