📌 Overview

During special promotions like the Summit event, you may be presented with several offers as you move through the checkout process. Each offer is a separate product with its own price. Because these offers are presented one after another, some customers accept more than one without realizing the charges are cumulative rather than a single bundled price. This article explains why you may see multiple receipts and how to request a refund if you were charged for offers you did not intend to buy.

🧾 Why You Received Multiple Receipts

Summit checkout flows often include a main offer followed by one or more additional add-on offers. These Summit add-on offers are designed to stack — higher tiers (for example, VIP and Platinum) are added on top of the main offer rather than replacing it. Here is what typically happens:

  • You accept the main offer (for example, a plan advertised at a set price).
  • After that, you are shown one or more follow-up offers, each on its own screen.
  • Accepting each follow-up offer adds a separate charge to your card.
  • Each accepted offer generates its own receipt, which is why you may see several charges in a row.

This means the totals are added together. If you expected one price but accepted multiple offers, your card was charged the combined amount rather than a single flat fee. For example, customers have expected a single advertised total (such as $197) but instead received several separate receipts in a row — one for each offer they accepted.

🔍 How to Confirm What You Were Charged

Before requesting a refund, it helps to review exactly what you purchased. This makes the process faster for everyone.

  1. Check your email inbox for the receipts you received. Each receipt lists the offer name and amount.
  2. Note the date and time of each charge.
  3. Compare the receipts to the offers you remember accepting.
  4. Identify which charges you did not intend to make.

Please use your emailed receipts as the source of truth for what you were charged. Summit special-offer pricing did not always appear correctly in the platform dashboard, QuickPay, or your Stripe upcoming invoice (a known issue that has since been resolved), so the emailed receipts are the most reliable record. Having this information ready will help our team locate your account and process your request quickly.

💸 How to Request a Refund

If you were charged for one or more offers you did not intend to purchase, you can request a refund directly from our team. Please have the following details ready:

  • The email address associated with your account.
  • The receipts or transaction amounts you would like refunded.
  • The date each charge appeared.
  • A short note explaining which charges you did not intend to accept.

Our team will review your request, confirm the charges, and process any eligible refund back to your original payment method. Refunds typically take a few business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card provider.

⚠️ Known Limitation: Buying the Same Annual Plan You Already Have

If you are already on an annual plan and attempt to purchase that same annual plan again as a Summit special offer, this is not currently supported. This is a recognized limitation that our team has investigated, and enabling this scenario is not planned at this time. If you intended to take advantage of a Summit offer for the plan you already hold and a charge did not apply as expected, contact our team using the details above so we can review your account and address any duplicate or incorrect charge.

✅ Tips to Avoid Duplicate Charges

To prevent unexpected charges during future promotions, keep these tips in mind:

  • Read each offer screen carefully before accepting. Each one is a separate product with its own price.
  • Look for buttons that let you decline or skip an offer if you do not want it.
  • Remember that advertised promotional prices usually apply to a single offer, not the entire series of offers.
  • Watch for confirmation screens and receipts as you go, so you always know what has been charged.
