FIN is Search Atlas's AI support assistant. It can answer product questions, guide you through features, and connect you with a human teammate — but it cannot check whether a human support agent is online at this exact moment.
FIN does not have access to real-time agent schedules, shift data, or live queue status. This means if you ask "Are human agents available right now?", FIN cannot give you an accurate yes or no answer.
✅ How to Check Live Agent Availability Yourself
The most reliable way to find out whether a human teammate is currently available is to open the chat widget and reach out directly. The widget reflects current support status in real time.
- Open the chat widget inside the Search Atlas platform.
- Initiate a conversation to see whether a human teammate is available.
- If you want to be connected with a human teammate, type human teammate in the chat input and send the message.
If a human teammate is available, you will be connected. If none are currently online, the chat will let you know and you can leave a message for follow-up.
⏰ What Happens When No Agents Are Available
If no human teammates are currently online, you have two options:
- Leave a message in the chat. A teammate will follow up with you as soon as one is available.
- Continue with FIN for immediate help with product questions, navigation guidance, or troubleshooting steps.
FIN is available 24/7 and can resolve a wide range of questions without a human agent.

FIN operates from a knowledge base of product documentation and support articles. It does not have a live connection to agent scheduling systems or real-time support queue data.
