🔍 Why Your Trial Length Might Look Different
Search Atlas offers different trial promotions depending on where you signed up. For example, a video, affiliate link, or partner offer may include a 30-day free trial, while the default signup flow provides a 7-day free trial. If your account shows fewer days than the promotion promised, it is likely because the promo code was not applied at checkout or needs to be redeemed manually.
✅ Step 1 — Check Your Current Trial Status
Before taking any action, confirm how many trial days remain on your account:
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the platform.
- Select Billing from the dropdown menu.
- Open the Plans & Top-ups tab.
- Review your current plan and the trial end date displayed on screen.
If the end date does not match the promotion you signed up under, continue to the next step.
🎟️ Step 2 — Redeem a Promo Code
If you received a promotional code (for example, through a YouTube video, a partner page, or a special offer link), you can apply it directly inside the platform:
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
- Select Billing.
- Open the Services tab (you can also use the Invoices or Activity Log tab — the Redeem Promo Code button appears on all three).
- Click Redeem Promo Code.
- Enter your code exactly as provided and confirm.
Once redeemed successfully, your trial end date will update automatically. Return to the Plans & Top-ups tab to verify the new expiry date.
💡 Tips to Avoid Common Issues
- Apply the code before your trial expires. Promo codes cannot extend a trial that has already ended and converted to a paid plan.
- Use the exact code from the promotion. Codes are case-sensitive and tied to specific offers.
- Each code can only be redeemed once per account. If you see an error saying the code is already used, your extension may already be active — check your trial end date on the Plans & Top-ups tab.
- Signed up via a special link? Some affiliate or partner links apply the extended trial automatically at signup. If it was not applied, use the manual redemption steps above.
⚙️ What Happens When Your Trial Ends
At the end of your trial period — whether 7 or 30 days — your account will transition to the paid plan you selected at signup. You will be charged on that date unless you cancel beforehand. No partial charges are applied during an active trial.
If you signed up under a special annual or promotional offer, any recurring top-ups you added will follow their own billing schedule independently of the trial end date.
