This article explains how to link a client website to your Search Atlas project and publish trophy content to it. If you have been unable to locate the right section or the steps you tried did not match what you see on screen, follow the verified steps below.
📍 Where to Find It
Trophy content publishing is accessed through the Content section of the platform. Navigate there using the left sidebar:
- Left sidebar → Content — this opens the SEO Content Assistant area where your trophy content pieces are managed.
- From here you can access sub-sections including Content Planner, Topical Maps, and AI Content Templates, depending on which content type you are publishing.
🛠️ Step-by-Step
- In the left sidebar, click Content to expand the section.
- Open the specific content area where your trophy content lives — for example, Left sidebar → Content → Content Planner or Left sidebar → Content → AI Content Templates.
- Locate the trophy content piece you want to publish and open it.
- Look for a Publish or Connect Site option within the content editor or document toolbar. This option allows you to link the piece to a client website.
- If prompted, enter or select the client website you want to publish to. If this is the first time connecting a site, you will need to provide the site URL and any required credentials or plugin connection details (such as a WordPress connection via the Search Atlas WordPress Plugin).
- Once the site is connected, confirm the target site is selected and click Publish to send the content directly to the client's website.
✅ How to Confirm It Worked
After publishing, you should see a confirmation message or status indicator inside the content editor showing the piece as Published. To fully verify:
- Visit the client's website directly and confirm the new content page or post is live and visible.
- Return to Left sidebar → Content and reopen the content piece — the status label should reflect a published state rather than draft or pending.
- If you connected via the WordPress Plugin, log in to the client's WordPress dashboard and confirm the post or page appears there with the correct content and status.
