🗺️ Overview

Scheduled reports in Report Builder are automatically emailed to your clients on the cadence you set. If those emails are not arriving, the most common causes are spam filtering, an unrecognised sender address, or a misconfigured schedule. This article walks you through everything you need to confirm delivery is working correctly.

📬 Sender Email Address

All scheduled reports sent from Search Atlas are delivered from info@marketer.report. You and your clients should recognise this address as the legitimate source of report emails. Because it differs from the searchatlas.com domain, some email clients and spam filters flag it as unknown.

Share this address with your clients before their first report is due so they can add it to their contacts or allowlist. This single step resolves the majority of delivery complaints.

🚀 How to Schedule a Report

  1. In the left sidebar, click Reports to open the Report Builder project list (/report-builder/projects-list).
  2. Open the report project you want to schedule, or create a new one.
  3. Click the Schedule or Email Settings option inside the project.
  4. Enter the recipient email address or addresses for your client.
  5. Choose your delivery frequency — weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
  6. Save the schedule. The next send will occur at the next scheduled interval.

🔍 Troubleshooting Delivery Issues

If a scheduled report has not arrived, work through the steps below before escalating.

  • Check the spam or junk folder. Ask your client to search their spam folder for emails from info@marketer.report. This is the most common reason reports go missing.
  • Allowlist the sender address. Your client's IT team or email provider should add info@marketer.report to their safe senders or allowlist. In corporate environments, this may also require allowlisting at the email gateway level.
  • Verify the recipient address is correct. Return to the report project in Report Builder and confirm the email address entered is free of typos.
  • Confirm the schedule is active. Open the schedule settings and check that the schedule has not been paused or that a past end date has not been set.
  • Check that the report contains data. Some configurations will skip sending if the report returns no data. Ensure the date range and filters are returning results when you preview the report manually.
  • Send a test email. Use the manual send or preview option inside the report project to trigger an immediate delivery to your own inbox. If this email arrives, the schedule and content are correctly configured — the issue is purely a delivery or spam filter problem on the recipient side.

✅ Testing Delivery Step by Step

  1. Navigate to Reports in the left sidebar.
  2. Open the relevant report project.
  3. Temporarily set the recipient address to your own work email.
  4. Trigger a manual send.
  5. Check your inbox and spam folder for an email from info@marketer.report.
  6. If the email arrives in spam, mark it as not spam and add info@marketer.report to your contacts.
  7. Once confirmed working, restore the original recipient address and advise your client to add the sender to their allowlist before the next scheduled send.

📋 Quick Reference

  • Sender address: info@marketer.report
  • Scheduled reports location: Left sidebar → Reports
  • First place to check: Recipient's spam or junk folder
  • Most effective prevention: Allowlisting info@marketer.report before the first send
