When Report Builder shows 0 matches for a website, it means the platform does not have an active project for that domain. Report Builder can only pull data for websites that are set up in your account, so a domain without an active project will return no results.
🛠️ Why This Happens
A domain may show zero matches for a few common reasons:
- The website has not been added to your account as a project yet.
- The domain was added, but its site metrics have not been picked up by the platform.
- The domain is set up under a slightly different address than the one you entered in Report Builder.
✅ Steps to Fix the Issue
- Confirm that the website is set up as an active project in your account.
- If the website is missing, add it to your account so the platform can collect its site metrics.
- Wait for the site metrics to appear for that domain. This is usually quick, but it can take a short time after setup.
- Refresh the page, then return to Report Builder and try again.
If the domain still shows zero matches after you refresh, check that the address matches the website exactly as it is set up in your account.
🔗 Choosing the Right Integrations
Report Builder only needs the integrations whose data you want to appear in your report. You do not need every integration to create a report. For example, if you only want keyword data, you can select just the integration that provides that information.
You also do not need OTTO for every report. OTTO is optional and only matters for reports where you want its data included.
🔑 Adding Keywords Manually
If you want to use the same keywords across more than one report, you can add them manually. There is no restriction on reusing keywords, so you can add the same keywords to as many reports as you need.
📊 Checking Your Report After Setup
Once the domain shows up in Report Builder, select the website, choose the integrations you want to include, and create your report. Review the results to make sure the data matches what you expect. If a section is empty, check that the matching integration is selected for that report.
