🖼️ Reuse AI-Generated Images

🔍 Why your image library may be missing

AI-generated images are not always stored in a permanent, reusable library. Depending on the Search Atlas feature and version used, an image may be attached only to the article or workflow where it was created. If that workflow is updated, regenerated, or removed, older images may no longer appear as a selectable library.

This does not necessarily mean your images were intentionally deleted. The Local → Media Library is designed for media managed within Local and may not contain every image generated by Content Genius or other AI tools.

♻️ How image reuse works

When supported, Content Genius can reuse images stored in your Brand Vault rather than generating a new image for every article. Images that were never saved to the Brand Vault, downloaded, or uploaded to a managed media area may not be available for future reuse.

Regenerating an image can also replace the current version. Previous generated versions may not be recoverable if they were not saved elsewhere.

💾 How to preserve images for reuse

  1. Download each image you want to keep when it is generated or displayed.
  2. Store the original files in your organization’s approved image folder or asset system.
  3. Use clear filenames, such as topic-format-date, so images are easy to find.
  4. When available in your workspace, add the files to your Brand Vault or upload them through the relevant media workflow.
  5. For Local assets, open Local → Media Library to manage supported uploaded media.

📝 Before generating more images

  • Save important images outside the generation screen immediately.
  • Avoid regenerating an image until you have downloaded the current version.
  • Keep a simple record of which image was used for each article.
  • Do not assume that generated images will remain available as a permanent library item.

🛠️ Need help locating older images?

Search Atlas may be able to confirm whether the images are associated with a specific article, Brand Vault, workspace, or previous feature version. Include the workspace, article URLs or names, approximate creation date, and any image filenames when contacting support.
