🔍 What the Features hub link does

The Features hub may link to the public Local SEO Heatmaps page at https://searchatlas.com/local-seo-heatmaps/. This page provides information about the feature and may not open the heatmap workspace directly.

If the link returns a 404 or does not load, use the platform navigation instead. This avoids issues caused by an outdated public URL, redirects, or browser caching.

📍 Open Local SEO Heatmaps

  1. Sign in to your Search Atlas account.
  2. Open Local from the left sidebar.
  3. Open Overview to access your local SEO workspace and available heatmap tools.
  4. Select the relevant business or Google Business Profile project.

You can also manage related local SEO work from Local, including Media Library, My Tasks, Posts, Reviews, and Local Citations.

⚙️ Check your Google Business Profile connection

Some heatmap features require a connected Google Business Profile. If no profile is connected, heatmap options may be unavailable or CSV import may be hidden.

  1. Open Local from the left sidebar.
  2. Select the relevant project.
  3. Confirm that the correct Google Business Profile and business location are connected.
  4. Refresh the page and check the heatmap options again.

🛠️ Troubleshoot a broken or incorrect link

  • Refresh the page and try the link again.
  • Open the link in a private or incognito browser window.
  • Confirm that you are signed in to the correct Search Atlas account.
  • Navigate through Local instead of using a saved bookmark or old Features hub link.
  • Check whether the issue affects one location or multiple projects.
  • Record the page URL, affected project, location, and any error message before reporting the issue.

🗺️ Verify map links and locations

When reviewing heatmap results, use the in-app map actions where available. View on Google should open the business's actual location, and View on Map should open the exact business rather than a general Google Maps search.

If either action opens the wrong location, verify the connected profile and business address first. Then refresh the project and test the action again.

📊 Related local SEO tools

Local SEO Heatmaps work alongside other local tools in the Local section, including Local Citations, Reviews, Posts, and Overview. For broader visibility and authority work, use Authority from the left sidebar. Its available areas include Cloud Stacks, URL Indexer, QUEST LLM Visibility, Campaigns, Inbox, and Sent.

💬 Get help with a persistent issue

If a Features hub link continues to return a 404, or a heatmap link opens the wrong page or location after these checks, include the affected URL, project name, location, screenshot, and steps to reproduce the issue.

If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.
