⏸️ Why pause Rank Tracker?
Rank Tracker can use credits when it refreshes tracked keywords on a recurring schedule. If you do not want ongoing tracking or credit usage, pause scheduled refreshes for the project.
🛠️ How to pause recurring tracking
- Open Keywords from the left sidebar.
- Select Rank Tracker.
- Open the project you want to pause.
- Find the project’s refresh or tracking settings.
- Disable the keyword refresh interval, or select Scan Once mode.
- Save the change if prompted.
Scan Once mode prevents recurring refreshes. You can run a new scan manually whenever you want updated ranking data.
📊 What happens after pausing?
- Your existing tracked keywords and ranking history remain available.
- The project stops scheduled keyword refreshes.
- No new recurring refresh credits are used while refreshes are paused.
- Ranking data may become outdated until you run another scan.
🔄 How to resume tracking
Return to the same Rank Tracker project settings and select a refresh interval instead of Scan Once mode. Save your settings, then confirm the next scheduled refresh shown for the project.
💡 Important credit note
Pausing prevents future recurring refreshes; it does not reverse credits already used by completed scans. If a scan is currently processing, allow it to finish before confirming that scheduled refreshes are paused.
