The July 2026 Content Genius release introduces per-location social profiles in Brand Vault, surfaces actionable crawler-block reasons on failed audits, and resolves a range of UX and error-messaging issues across the platform.

Brand Vault — Per-Location Social Profiles (GBP): You can now assign distinct social profile links to each individual business location within Brand Vault. This gives multi-location businesses precise control over which social accounts are associated with each Google Business Profile.
Crawler-Block Reason on Failed Audits: When a site audit fails due to a crawler block, the specific block reason is now surfaced directly in the audit results. The recrawl button also displays a loading state while the recrawl is actively running, so you always know the current status at a glance.
🛠️ How to Use It
To set up per-location social profiles in Brand Vault:
- Open Brand Vault from the header apps-grid icon → More Features → Brand Vault.
- Select the business location you want to configure.
- Navigate to the Social Profiles tab for that location.
- Add or update the social profile URLs for each relevant platform.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
To review a crawler-block reason on a failed audit, open the affected audit in Content Genius and look for the block reason displayed alongside the audit status. Use the Recrawl button to trigger a new crawl once the underlying issue is resolved.
📋 What to Expect
- Knowledge Graph: Saving a Knowledge Graph now shows a specific error message when something goes wrong, instead of a generic error toast.
- CMS Connectors: Connection errors now display the actual reason for the failure, making it easier to diagnose and fix integration issues.
- Article Publishing: Attempting to publish an article that is still being generated now returns a clear status message in both the article editor and Website Studio, rather than failing silently.
- Content Planner: Grid and table view UX issues have been resolved, resulting in smoother navigation and more reliable editing interactions.
