This article helps you respond when a buyer asks you to lower your listed price and you want to keep your current rate instead. It walks through how to decline the request and confirm that your original pricing has not been changed.

🛠️ Step-by-Step

  1. Open the conversation or offer from the buyer requesting the lower price — do not agree to or accept the offer before reviewing your options.
  2. Reply directly to the buyer stating that you are keeping your current listed rate and are not accepting the discounted offer.
  3. If the platform provides an option to respond to the offer, select the option to decline or reject it rather than leaving the request unanswered.
  4. Do not edit or re-save your listing price as part of this process — modifying the listing itself is not necessary to preserve your rate and may cause unintended changes.
  5. If the buyer sends repeated requests at a lower price, decline each one individually rather than assuming a prior decline applies to future requests.

✅ How to Confirm It Worked

  1. Check your listing or profile page and verify the price displayed still matches your original, intended rate — not the buyer's proposed amount.
  2. Review the status of the buyer's offer or request to confirm it is no longer active or pending.
  3. If you have order or transaction history, confirm no order was created at the discounted price the buyer requested.
  4. If your rate still shows incorrectly after declining, do not resubmit the same action — contact our support team so the issue can be reviewed and corrected manually. Have your listing name, the buyer's proposed price, and any relevant screenshots ready when you reach out.
