What Is AI Visibility?
AI Visibility (also called LLM Visibility) is a Search Atlas feature that tracks how your brand and content appear in AI-generated responses from large language models. It monitors specific topics and queries across your projects and uses a credit-based system to control usage.
How AI Visibility Credits Work
Credits are consumed each time the system scans a query against an AI model. Understanding how credits are used helps you get the most from your plan without running out unexpectedly.
- Each tracked query uses credits when it is scanned.
- Queries can be added automatically by the system or manually by you. Your credit usage may vary depending on the source of each query.
- Credits apply to your account and to the projects using AI Visibility.
- You can monitor your remaining credits inside the platform to avoid unexpected interruptions to tracking.
Topics and Queries: What Are the Limits?
AI Visibility is organised around topics, which group related queries together for tracking. Each project has limits on how many topics and queries it can track at one time.
- Topics represent broad themes or subject areas relevant to your brand or niche.
- Queries are the specific questions or search phrases tracked within each topic.
- The number of topics and queries you can track per project depends on your current subscription plan.
- When you reach your topic or query limit, you will need to remove existing items before adding new ones, or upgrade your plan to increase your limits.
How to Manage AI Visibility
To manage your AI Visibility topics, queries, and credits, navigate to the AI Visibility section within the Search Atlas platform. From there you can:
- View active topics and queries for each project.
- Add new queries manually to an existing topic.
- Remove topics or queries you no longer need to free up capacity.
- Check your remaining credit balance and current plan limits.
