Each AI Visibility plan includes a set number of projects. A project is usually one website or brand you track. If you need to track more than your plan allows, you can add extra project slots as an add-on instead of upgrading your whole plan.
Each extra slot lets you track one additional project in AI Visibility.
💰 How Much Does One Extra Slot Cost?
A common question is: "Is one slot $29 per month or $29 per year?"
The add-on row shows the price with a /mon unit, and the window's Price line shows the amount followed by "per project" (with "per project per month" as the billing description). Extra project slots are billed monthly, not yearly. Read that label in the add-on window before you confirm so there are no surprises on your next invoice.
Here is what to look for in the AI Visibility Projects add-on window:
- Price: the amount charged for each extra project, shown as "$29 per project", billed monthly.
- Billing period: monthly. The price is shown as "per project", and the charge repeats each month.
- Project total: a slider or number box where you set how many projects you want in total. The Total is the price per project multiplied by the number of projects you are adding.
- Total: the amount charged right now, shown in USD.
🧾 How to Confirm Your Billing Period Before You Pay
- Log in to your Search Atlas account.
- Open the Billing page and choose AI Visibility Projects. When you hit your project limit in AI Visibility, select "Buy More Projects" and you are taken to the Billing page, where the add-on window opens.
- When you reach your project limit, AI Visibility shows "No available quota for AI Visibility Analysis" with both an "Upgrade Plan" button and a "Buy More Projects" button. This includes the Starter plan, which comes with 1 AI Visibility project. Buying more is blocked on the Billing page, which says AI Visibility is not included on Starter and asks you to upgrade your plan.
- Read the Price line, which shows the amount per project, billed monthly.
- Check the project total you set and the Total line, shown in USD.
- Only select the "Upgrade to N AI Visibility Projects" button once the details match what you expect.
If the billing period is not clear to you, stop before confirming and ask our team (see the last section).
➕ How to Add an Extra Project Slot
- Go to AI Visibility in your dashboard.
- Open a project you cannot track because you are at your limit. You will see "No available quota for AI Visibility Analysis" with an "Upgrade Plan" button and a "Buy More Projects" button.
- Use the slider or number box to set the total number of AI Visibility projects you want. The add-on covers the projects above your current total.
- Review the price and billing period.
- Confirm your purchase.
After the purchase is complete, the new slot appears in your account and you can create your additional project.
📅 How Add-On Charges Appear on Your Account
- Your add-on is charged separately from your main plan, so you will see it as its own line item.
- Your billing section shows your active add-ons and their renewal details.
- If you add more than one slot, the charge reflects the total number of slots.
Check your billing section after purchase to confirm the amount and the next renewal date match what you saw at checkout.
